These improvments are needed to make this figure cartoon accurate:

-The head should be wider at the cheeks (i’m not 100% sure about this  )
-One of the arm recesses should be on the side of the arm
-Forarms should be fatter

and...

-The chest should be slightly higher

Otherwise this is very good looking robot!

 

$99 is waaaaaaay too much for me for a third tier character. I'll get the first version for $50 or so.

 

Happy with v1, would not upgrade to this unless it was dirt cheap.

 

I think this would have became my favorite minibot yet. Really love how 2.0 looks and paint too. I mean this, this is looking like in the top two minibots along with Sheridan.

TFS Express has this for 73 bucks shipped to the US.

 

Unsure if I need this after getting the XTB one. It's a better fatty shape but it also looks sorta musclebound in the top if you know what I mean. :/

It's also $100 so not to sound cheap but it's one of those where I'm going "Do I really need an upgrade on this guy?" Going to have to look at my shelf when I get home and make a decision.

 

Trying to gauge how long FT figures stay available. So the PreOrder for Spindrift 2.0 went up about 12-15 hours ago depending on the store. Looks like the preorders are still available at the usual suspects.

The update looks great, but still not a big enough improvement for me to replace Toyworld's Wavebreak.

Looks cute but TW still has the most screen accurate torso and XTB's accessories are more fun.

 

I get what you're saying but I usually stick to a local vendor and consider it the "convenience fee" for them to get it in state and then I don't have to mess with shipping and that nonsense. Because of that, it's $100 or not at all for me.  

 

Fair play. In that case you probably do have a decision to make... if he's gonna sit way at the back, or at least not front and centre, and all you're going to see is his head and propellers, then I wouldn't bother switching out if it's not gonna eat away at you.

 

Yeah its a hard call in all honesty. I like him a lil better....I don't think, for me, I like him that much better. It's not like MP-10 vs one of the new Optimus figures where you can go "the difference is huge" or like FT Thomas vs Chighur.

The US is charging way too much for this. 99 plus shipping, sorry pass. Just picked it up for 83 shipped. I'm not paying that much money for a 3rd tier character
