Working treads look pretty!

 

I’d say if you have wardog and like it then it’s alright.

 

Which is a shame since zeta knows how to do working treads like with scavenger and bonecrusher. There’s some good treads.

 

Looking at Warpath and their Seaspray, it's like two different companies designwise.

 

Yeah that’s what I fear too. Hopefully there is improvement in that department. For me I want a warpath that I would place on my work desk and periodically mess with it and transform back and forth.

 

I just need it to look the part in both modes, with priority given to bot mode. I also don’t need anything like working treads that detract from the sculpt.

 

XTB Beachcomber is safe but I think BC Brawn and BC Warpath are going to get the boot.

In my eyes warpath has always been a desk character.

Nah dude, fanstoys is definitely gonna come before takara. I garuntee it.

 

FT had more new releases last year than Takara did. I’ll put my money on FT coming out first.

 

I didn’t go in on the first release of Wardog but the goddamn Veteran special edition roped me in ... almost as embarrassing as me continually referencing it as a Sherman when it’s a Sheridan ... all shitty US tanks tend to blend together, Abrams is all we have to hang our hat on sadly ...

 

Well damn..looks like I've got a new in box Wardog Veteran going up for sale

 

He looks great. No doubt about it. But I've come to a point where I don't feel the need to replace every figure of my collection when a newer version comes out. I only do that with characters I care a lot about. Maybe I'll change my mind when I see this guy next to other figures. Warpath was a funny character after all. But I definitely won't replace my other MP Minibots.

 

I sold off my Wardog recently as he looked like he was from a different line of transforming robot toys now I’ve replaced most things with toon-style MPs.

As soon as preorders are up, I’m down!

Surely this can’t be two years away if they’ve got a physical proto? The sculpt is clearly done, I wonder how they’ll prioritise this along everything else that’s scheduled

 

I never liked Warpath back in the day. I only bought Badcube's version because I thought he looked awesome in bot mode. So, while I've really gotta' hand it to ft for pulling off a much more toon accurate bot mode (they're really on a role with the toon accuracy) while still making a damn good looking tank mode, I won't be buying this. It's specifically because Badcube's deviated from the cartoon to make a much more burly looking bot that I bought him. Still, I couldn't be happier for those of you getting this and for all the people who will happily buy up your used Wardogs.

 

I’d like to buy it but I could use that money to be buying a fanstoys warpath!
