Alright knights, let's go BLAM ZING'EM!

 

Finally got him transformed and wow - there go my finger nails! A lot of the tolerances for even tiny panels are way, way tighter than they need to be. The whole process took over an hour!

Doesn't help as I had to transform the legs twice as the first time they were rotated the wrong way and they kind of need to be transformed the right way as they won't easily rotate afterwards.

Tank mode is nice... Which is even more annoying as I don't think I'll be transforming him into it very frequently at all.

Now to transform Hunk... I'm hoping for a less frustrating experience.

 

I have one toe-tread that is the tightest part in Transformers history. I broke 2 spudgers working on his ingrown toenail (after using shock oil nonetheless).

 

My warpath FT with some painted details ... with the headlights, the taillights and the barrel.

 

Yeah, both on mine are nigh-impossible to rotate. I'm just not gonna rotate them at all anymore, it looks perfectly acceptable in tank mode and isn't even remotely worth the trouble.

 

The scratch is on the outer side of the left thigh. I'm just pissed since Sheidan gets a paint chip right when I transform his legs. Not sure why doesn't FT spray a clear coat afterwards or use diecast with thin paint near areas where there's going to be heavy manipulations.

Has anyone ever gotten touch-up paint from any 3rd party companies?

 

I’m sure I seen that Fanstoys sent some out to a few people with Hoodlum

 

I think I saw something like that. I'm not 100% sure though. I do remember someone color matching Hoodlum and making their own touch up paint.

Aaaaaaaaaaaand the epic saga of Pitney Bowes now finds its way into the Sheridan thread!

I got my figure in April. I asked for replacement screws from the vendor in April. It's almost August, and I still have a one-legged Sheridan.

I just sent this email to FansToys. I redacted the vendor name because I really don't think the vendor is guilty of any wrongdoing, except to trust Pitney Bowes.

Dear FansToys,

I purchased FansToys Sheridan from [redacted], and I received it in April. Right out of the box, the left leg fell off at the knee (see images). The leg was held onto the knee using a rivet, which does not have a slot for a screwdriver. This is a common problem with the first edition. It's a simple fix: I'll need replacement screws from FansToys.

[redacted] has always made things right in the past, and so I utilized [redacted]'s after-sales service. I asked [redacted] for two replacement screws. One screw for the left leg, which had fallen off, and one more screw just in case the right leg also falls off at the knee. On April 23, [redacted] sent me a reply that the replacement parts would be mailed to me, and the tracking number was [redacted].

Upon arriving in the USA, the replacement screws were picked up by the shipping partner, Pitney Bowes. The last shipping update was on July 4, saying the part has been picked up by Pitney Bowes in Inglewood, California. There have been no updates since that time, and I worry that Pitney Bowes has lost or stolen my package. I've Googled some reviews of Pitney Bowes, and it looks to me that it is a fraudulent and scam company.

I beg you, as a responsible manufacturer, to make things right with my FansToys Sheridan. I am not accusing [redacted] of wrongdoing, except perhaps in trusting Pitney Bowes. I ask that FansToys send me two replacement screws so that I can repair my figure. And please please please do NOT use Pitney Bowes.

My Sheridan been stuck bouncing around NJ for ten days. I think I might have been scammed. I don't live anywhere near NJ. Pitney Bowes USPS tag team shipping sucks again. I hate using them.

Don't feel bad. My copy of Sheridan is currently in the evil clutches of Pitiful Hoes as well. Their tracking system is a joke. Hope you get your parts.
