Managed to get Magnum & Smokey back into bot mode without videos, but I had to use videos for RK and alt-mode transformation for all of them. Will tackle Spoiler next.  

 

Hehe I will not be transforming them until Dead End arrives... Can't risk breaking them so close to the finish line.

Perhaps only Smokey because it would be the first time.

 

I can never, NEVER, get the arms/engines correctly tabbed in. They are never flush when in plane mode. It annoys me, because the rest fits so well.

 

Same here. I’m sure it’s a tolerance issue with every copy out there, but TBH is really not a deal breaker. It is annoying though. You breath near the bastard and it un-tabs!

 

Indeed. I just transformed Roadking and it went quite smoothly. Maverick is the most 'troublesome', but someone in the Aetherion thread gave some tips.

What exactly isn't tabbing in right? Maybe I'm thinking of something else, but what I'm picturing when I read your posts here I've never had an issue with. I just plug the arms into the sides of his legs and then fold the wing down from above and they are locked in.

 

That's also a good one. I have the wings already spread out.

I just transformed Roadking from robot to truck mode without instructions. It's my third time transforming him, and he's way easier than Maverick. I'm dreading changing him to alt mode, since I do change up the shelf and modes every so often. Mind you, it wasn't without some annoyances lol

 

I hope Dead End is as good as Wildrider, I didn't like Breakdown or Dragstrip.

Wildrider was my least favourite Stunticon character as a kid, and I was pleasantly surprised to see him get a really strong Masterpiece treatment.

Man, your camera really shows in harsh lighting what's painted and what's not. Seeing them all together really makes FT's thighs/hands and the whole DX9 figure look drab and colourless

 

I will say DX9 looks better in person... but it is more gold and pale in spots.

I have FT's Dragstrip and XTB's G2 Dragstrip and in hand, my favorite is .... DX9's Dragstrip.
