I'm still wondering how the leg cars attach to the leg modules. They seem to be clawed in somehow. I also wonder if there's any panels on Spoiler and Magnum that flip out or down to assist with attaching....

 

looks like they just get secured in form top and bottom, seems fine to me

If he is as solid as I hope... it will come down to DX9 vs FT for the steel cage best 3P Not-Menasor match to the death.

 

If you check the car modes you’ll see the front and back fenders/bumpers have slots that will secure them to the legs

They’ve given him such great proportions and a really strong heroic look. The other Menasors look a bit boxy...

 

Most definitely the best combined and bot modes. Probably best alt modes too...

 

I’ll reserve my opinion on which is the best or best looking when all are released. Lots can happen from render to production.

 

For me, I'm already 90% sure it's FT's combined mode that's going to win by default. I'm not a fan of the cartoon version, and IIRC XTB is not doing the toy version anymore. DX9 is released enough for me to know I hate it. I'm still hoping XTB does the toy version but... *Shrug* I dunno.

 

I personally don't see much of a problem with the proportions of XTB's Menasor, though while I have a good feeling that while it'll also end up to be pretty good, FT will seem to excel once again. Though I reserve full judgement till both are all set to go.

 

We won't see the combined mode for FT. Been told by several Trolled Bots. They can't be wrong right.
1. "XTB stresses quality over speed".
2. "FT is in big trouble. XTB doing better than ever!!!"

How could statements like that be wrong? HOW?

 

I will never touch an XTB product, they look cheap and their aesthetic is lame. That being said I like Takara figures lmao

 

Xtransbots not Scourge left a bad taste in my mouth. The foot transformation is horrible. I also have their not Wheelie, which while OK in bot mode, has clearance issues transforming leading to possible breakage. I also have their not Skids and not Seaspray which are average. Overall, I think they seem to get 80% to 90% right then screw up a critical piece.

I decided not to go with XTB for MP Menasor based on their products that I currently own and am trying to get the FT Stunticons set. FT's use of the whole trailer in not Motormaster was what sealed it for me. Little bit of a backpack but doesn't bother me.

 

Only Xtransbots figures I got were Boost and Toro, both of their feet were a nightmare(much moreso Boost's)

 

It came!



Transformation was finicky for me, only because of lining up the legs for truck mode. And I had one of the poles that holds the panels together slide out more than once. But the engineering on this piece can't be denied, and mass shifting in this is amazing.

 

I only have two XTB products, myself. Klaatu and Neptune (Cosmos and Seaspray), and I could not be happier with both. Gonna be getting Spindrift 2.0 as my definitive Seaspray but I can't bring myself to sell Neptune, thing looks great but even better, comes with the cutest assortment of accessories to date.



I mean come on. A BEACH BALL, SHOVEL AND PAIL? I'm not sure if anyone can beat that, haha.

Klaatu is nothing but fantastic, feels great in-hand and looks the part as well. This figure legit made me love Cosmos as a character, it's that good.

I am still getting their Stunticons for combined mode more than anything.
