What if... FTs plan on doing a Prime that is the same size as Roadking? Would that alleviate people's complaints about the size discrepancy or cause a whole new headache with people complaining that either they don't need a new prime and those complaining that had they known FTs we're going to do a taller Prime they would have picked up prior releases?

 

I don't see an issue with RK being taller at all. It's marginal at best. Definitely not something I'd reorganize my collection over.

 

Bring it on. Nobody has done a Sunbow truck Prime at that size yet.

 

I like all the combiner team leaders being bigger than prime and megatron ! I see them as autobot and decepticon big guns , but that’s my personal taste

 

Prime should be the last figure FT ever produce. They take all their years of experience and feedback and create the perfect Prime as a last hurrah!
But in reality, I'm good on Primes at the moment. I'd just rather see some other s1 & s2 figures.

 

I honestly don't remember Motormaster standing next to anyone other than other Stunticons in the cartoon. He probably did, but I don't recall it off the top of my head.

How big is ToyWorld Primorion (and the Zeta painted release) compared to Roadking? I know it is bigger than MP10/44, but not how it compares directly. I think it should be similar to Roadking though. I guess it isn't really Sunbow though.

 

Can't wait for their final figures of Optimus and Megatron in 2098.

We already have four Optimus Primes and I think TE Prime does a good job pretty well. I'm not that crazy about FT OP. I would also like too see more s1 carbots than Prime.

FT already teased Prime but guess what? It is only a silhouette. So we will wait at least probably six or seven years. I think most people should settle for TE Prime. He is a great figure. He even won as a figure of the year over Roadking if I remember correctly.

There was a figure of the year poll in 2019. The figures on the poll were determined by a write in stage before this. There are a number of votes for other figures, who knows how the votes would have swung if it was just the two, but TE Prime beat Roadking 97 - 88. I don't agree with the results (EDIT: looking at the options again I would probably put TE Prime 3rd to last, much prefer Magic Square to TE, but my opinion only counts for 1 vote), but it is an actual verifiable outcome as far as you are willing to trust an internet poll on a single website.

I think he was asking who decided TE Prime won Figure of the Year over Roadking.

I said it at the time, but I believe that was just an image to give context to that alternate face for Tesla 2.0 rather than an FT Optimus tease, though I know there are people who disagree with me.

 

Okay thanks for clarification. It could be tease but we can only assume. TE Prime is in my top 10 or even top 5 five figures. I will buy him and keep him and not going to swap with FT (Actually I don't like constantly swapping figures and want to be happy for what I have) My only complaint for TE is that he doesn't have trailer.
