The ALT mode is siminlar size to MP12 and other MP cars.

 

Holy shit. These guy should are even taller than DX9’s!!! They look good though.

I think my favourite part is how Magnum looks a lot more dynamic and sleek than XTB’s. Especially love how it has proper hip flaps with some shape and sculpt instead of a big flat panel like XTB’s. A little less slavish to the cartoon but a lot more dynamic looking. I’m interested.
Already passing on XTB because I don’t like their bot modes. This and DX9 are both looking nice. FTs are bloody tall though.
Hopefully one of them shows combined mode pics soon.

 

Nice, really happy they made the height of the bot modes same height like the other Decepticons

My man @dalianjj , how are those Aerialbots coming along? Would really like to see FT deliver Superion and Defensor first, so people have time to recoup from the XTB and DX9 Menasors before FT starts production on a Menasor. In the meantime, nobody has a proper G1 MP Superion (except FT) or Defensor set announced or released. A much bigger market opportunity vs being third to market with a Menasor.

These are probably too big for me but I'm very curious to see combined mode. I like the size of XTB's Stunticons for robot mode but their combined form seems kind of terrible.

Nice that these don't have mid-thigh cut swivels and there are flaps on the hip skirts for each leg individually. That's always a good start. *stares in articulation at certain other 3Ps*

 

Cripes, FT is in too???

They look pretty alright, but i'm honestly okay with the XT guys. The new FT ones dont really blow away the amazing job XT did with the sculpts on their guys for me to not wanna switch. That and I dont care for the gigantor size in bot mode

Thats gotta be some next level mass shift engineering going on, tho, if they REALLY go from seeker sized bot mode to sideswipe sized car mode

 

 

I'm going to be so freaking disappointed when it turns out that these combiners will be pantsformers....

G1 menasor was my least favourite combiner but this has got my attention

 

Judging by the huge size of these 2 limbs I don't think they will need much parts forming

 

So umm is production on NEW figures going to ramp up instead of spending factory time on re-issues? Seems to me at the current pace we won't get all the new revealed projects for many many years.

Phenomonally too large robot mode. Beautiful, but I can’t justify the size. Xtb has the right idea. Cheat to hell for combined mode.

I'm already in on XTB first two release and the first DX9 is paid for for Menasor.

Totally baffled. If this was someone like Computron or Abominus or Predaking or Raiden or even Devastator - all over it as would a lot of collectors. Something actually wanted and not being duplicated in some dick waving troll war between companies.

But another Menasor? Unless all 5 are coming out in the next couple of months, what's the point? Yes, they look awesome (i prefer the larger robot mode) but this trolling of other 3rd parties when you have nothing but renders or prototypes for months to years (if they ever come out...) is just a waste of everyone's time.

No wonder Kapow are cutting back on TP, too many troll releases and pre-orders for 2027 releases. Like this.

And Hot Rod, Trailbreaker, Aerialbots, Blitzwing etc etc.

Aside from long ago with their Soundwave, and more recently with Hot Rod, FT hasn’t shown much concern with what Takara are doing, let alone other 3P’s. Their Fan base is strong enough that they’ll easily steal sales from others. What i think is happening is FT is staking out those who want taller Stunticons, XTB will grab those who are into Carbot size and hyper toon accuracy... and poor DX9 will be left holding the bag. After their Gabriel disaster and the Richthofen tail issue, DX9 has lost some credibility.
Ironically FT hasn’t been exactly been firing on all pistons either but their reputation seems a lot more bullet-proof!!

Never mind other 3P’s, how about other FT products. Blurr, please take some notes of what’s going on with these guys.
