Anyone get invoices from TFSource?

 

Mine shipped from Toy Dojo as well but delivery isn't scheduled until Thursday for me. Texas to Michigan taking 5 days sucks. I hate when vendors ship anything but USPS.

 

Man if anyone wants to buy mine for $229, I will sell mine. Mine comes in on Monday. I was ready to open it but these prices has me reconsidering haha. This guy seems to be more hot than Phoenix X. I was planning on putting my original in alt mode for my airformers display and T in bot mode for my toon display

 

I passed on another E-tailer at that price. To me not worth it. I could have my original painted for less. Good luck, I’m sure someone will scoop it up.

 

I gotta say, I'm pretty happy that once mine arrives and I can compare this to my original release, that I can probably sell the one I like less for far more than I paid for it.

 

Yeah I’m not really trying to sell it but if someone wants it then I won’t turn it down for that price. I actually want two cyclonus for my collection for his armada from the movie

Anyway, if FT run out of ideas. They should do this redeco for fun

 

Dirge color scheme is pretty dope

 

I'm thinking about opening mine to see it side-by-side with the regular version and decide which one I'm going to keep and which is getting sold off.

How much does the regular version go for these days? Seems to be sold out at all of the retailers I checked (BBTS, TFS, TCP, TD, Agabyss, ShowZ).

 

If any of you decide not to keep ft-29t, let me know. I'm still hoping one will come in stock at retail so I wouldn't pay the 230 ShowZ is charging, but I'd be willing to go a bit over retail. Thanks guys.

Also I have an original version to trade if anyone who got ft-29t would prefer the original

 

I looked on ebay and sellers are asking upwards of $245US and that's before tax. It softens the blow a bit that with showz I don't get slugged with GST like I do on ebay/AliExpress these days.

 

Did this really take like 5 years to make?

 

Anyone with a T in hand able to confirm if they fixed the cockpit tabbing issue with the original mould?

 

and if they used better paint for the chest or sorted out the scratching issue :/

 

I have no idea how long it was in the works before it was revealed publicly, but from the original silhouette teaser (with the Galvatron reveal) it will be 4 years this November so maybe 5 in total (since they don't reveal when they begin the earliest stages of engineering the transformation). From the prototype reveal in July 2017 it took about 1 year 3 or 4 months to release the original deco, about 3 years from the silhouette teaser.

 

Gotta love the accuracy of the work done by Akom animators.

 

TFS- Express says on their Facebook that this guy will ship from China tomorrow.
And from England next week.
Finally, i can also release Silverbolt together from his storage jail.  

 

Man, FT, why you gotta make this so hard to decide between them. I don't like the hue of the skin color on the T version, it looks like he ate some bad sushi and has food poisoning. But the hue to his blue-ish body panels is a more purplish shade which is much better than the more pure blue of the original version. Neither one is 100% to my liking.
This is just like the Phoenix situation, where the X model has matching red pieces all over it, but has an off-white pearlescent finish to the body panels that makes it look like it comes pre-faded. The pure white of the original looks better to me, but the mismatched red bits is a negative. And the metallic blue eyes of the original are nicer than the flat blue eyes of the X model. This is the curse of FT, apparently. They are bound to never release a perfect deco. Arrgh.  

I think I may just keep the original and resell the T version simply since it is worth more and I definitely don't need two of them.

Quietus-T - MI(S)B, only opened to verify contents and compare color next to regular Quietus, then resealed. $225 shipped continental US.

Maybe someone will feel the same way and swap the white parts to the T version and vice versa. Then we can see how it would look
