Dracula seems to be an outlier. Looks great in both modes and the transformation is easy.

Speaking for myself, Koot and Apache were fine, though the transformations were difficult at first. No loose joints or paint defects/chipping I can recall. I don't want to attempt to do Rogue but have watched enough reviews on her to see how fiddly the transformation is. Waiting on Quietus and so far reviews look similar, looks great, hard transformation. I am not purchasing Dracula as it is not my thing.

Maybe it is best to chalk it up to the movie bots being designed after the onscreen depictions instead of how it was with the Season 1 and 2 bots. Causing a great difficult for designers to get all modes as close to screen as possible.

A good measuring stick may be when they return to some of the Season 1 and 2 bots they have since revealed. I could be wrong though.

So we have two robot-to-jet video reviews now, and both leave the leg transformation until last.

Why is this? It would seem to only make that whole process harder, since the arms and body parts are now cluttering up that whole area, denying you a lot of room to work with.

 

Right shoulder ratchets missing in mine.
Causes problems moving the arm as it's now too close to the torso. Any other position than straight up or down forces the chest and back panels outwards.

Asked TFS for a replacement.

This review and the one of Megadoragon are quite similar, yet he gives more praise to Quietus... Smells like a G1 bias...

 

I sympathize! That happened to me only last week. Still, I try to count my blessings; Earlier this year there was a patch where the local courier companies replaced their drivers and the new ones tried to take advantage of the fact that this is mostly a bedroom community to not even bother trying to deliver and just leave 'you were not at home' cards. I realize it's probably a shitty job, but I was not sad when the uproar got them replaced in turn.

 

Wrong. Smells like a FansToys bias. He is a well known FT Fanboy. There's been suspicion that under that mask, Bobby Skullface == dalianjj.

 

It used to be a good job, but with the loss of pay and benefits, no one of ability is clamoring to work there anymore, hence you get people who probably have no business working there keeping their job longer than they should.

I'm surprised you were able to do that. Usually the USPS mail carriers don't return to the post office with the undeliverables untill around 8 or 9 PM, hours after the lobby has closed. At least that's how it is in my area.

 

I'm looking forward to getting this guy, but I too definitely think there has been a trend with Fanstoys latest figures.

I really didn't enjoy Apache (thinking of swapping him out for MMC) and I sold Rouge. Kup is fine apart from one really annoying bit on the transformation. I skipped on Dracula - gonna just do season 1, 2 and Movie.

I thought their Sludge was pretty much perfect and I love the Galvatron's presence, if not the transformation. Hopefully Quietus has a similar presence!!!

 

I think MP has G1 bias, by default, unless I'm confused about your statement somehow. I have FT bias, so even before I see Megadoragon I can be confident that Quietus will be better for my tastes.
