    Wonderful update. I actually placed a “pre-order” just last week for shxts & giggles. I figured w all the FT Figs selling out I was at least hedging my bets.

    Looks great. Hopefully the transformation is manageable.

    Looks fantastic! I actually love the toon version from XTB so this will be a tough sell for me, but for those who waited it out FT looks like they nailed him.

    Hmm, the new robot mode looks vastly superior.

    However, as much as I like the robot mode, I dont't like changes they did to the alt mode.
    First prototype had a perfect Toyota Hilux alt mode, the new one looks off o me. There is something very wrong with proportions.

    Hope this is just a simplified render and the actual test shot will look much better.
    I'll still have my eye on this one though.

    Robot mode yes, but I am pretty sure the alt mode is just an early render.

    As good as the update looks, this will be atleast summer 2021, hopefully TT doesn't tease their own by then.

    I love how this looks but I think XTB got the faces more toon accurate and I love the happy smiley faces they included

    Seriously, I was just about to preorder the XTB one and giving up hope on this. Glad I didn't. Now to find a place to preorder him from.

    I dont think they wait so much as once the competition tips their hand, they feel they need to show customers what they will be offering.

    Wow, even as an huge fan of the XTB toon Aegis, I must say this looks great! I love the articulation, especially the MP-44/MP-47 style hip skirts and the more than 90 degree elbow and knee bends. Poor articulation and cruddy transformations are my biggest issues with FT, and here it looks like they eliminated at least one of my concerns. That said, I agree with @Teletran-1 that XTB's faces are slightly better.

    Now please reveal Hoist so I can decide whether to get the XTB toon reissue of Paean or wait. :p
