I didn't hear of any delays for Skullcruncher. Should be out by Q2 next year

 

I did in March and he replied that there was currently no update. That was almost 3 months ago though so someone might see if there is a current update.

 

Speaking of... can you please point me to where I might pick up TF symbol waterslide decals?

 

I printed my own using the faction symbol templates on this site and some waterslide paper I got from eBay. Was far more cost effective in the long run.

What's the most up to date info we have on this guy? That it went back to be re-engineered like Blitzwing? Or is it dead in the water?

 

With as long as this is taking, I hope FT provides an update on Outrider and reveals their Hoist at the same time.

 

I have this guy too and I am happy, just wish he had silver paint( but I can easily fix that). Honestly teraegis is underrated, hes the only one who gets the shape of the torso right, even fanstoys (along with the other Trailbreakers) has a straight-up square chest.

 

It is being redesigned. The latest update was last October (post quoted above yours), not quite a year ago. Blitzwing's updated design was revealed a little over a year after we were told he was being redesigned. Redesign comment in June of 2018, new design shown in July of 2019. We might see the new design at TFCon in October which would be a similar timeframe, but that would of course be dependent on the design actually being done.

Who knows, maybe the issue with the chest shape is part of the reason it is getting redesigned. We'll see eventually.

I wouldn't be surprised to see an update as XTB is updating Aegis and shipping him out next month or so

 

That said, XTB might be pushing out a V2 before TT drops an MP TB and Hoist. Maybe.

 

I’m not keen on v2 Aegis, I really want chrome weapons.

Does any one know if this one will use vac metal chrome?

 

Hope not, chrome is out of place in toon aesthetic and aside from the Dibots, which are several years old, very few 3P MPs use chrome anymore.

If this is still in the works, hope that the improvements includes alternate happy / laughing face and that the windows be smoke or foggy to hide the "junk" inside (unlike MMC / XTB).

Would also be cool if the Antenna can be mounted on the shoulder in bot mode (like XTB) and that he has the option for 2 hands or Hand and Gun (like XTB / MMC).

For color, i am ok with toon white for the body members (or silver) as long as it is painted or pristine looking anyways, but would prefer silver for the shoulder pieces i think (or offer both like MP Inferno). I think I prefer proper shinny painted black like BC / XTB v1, vs the grey from XTB v2, but, as long as it looks pristine, i might be ok either.
