I would agree. If we ever get some news, I'm sure many would consider replacing their's for Outrider. Plus anyone who missed on one of the others or is just new to collecting would like to get their hands an MP Trailbreaker.

I've seen preorders come from other products before, so it's a possibility that it could return, but I do not put much stock in it myself. Like I've seen it go from BBTS when everything else is out of stock then suddenly they get it in and then places like tfsource suddenly is like this item is in stock again! So it can happen but it probably doesn't happen every time with every product sold. I do have it preordered there in case though lol.

I like how MMC Trailbreaker fits in with the rest of the Masterpieces. Still, when FTs comes out, I will most likely swap up.

Well it is indefinitely postponed, as in it is postponed and it is not defined until when.

I have come so close on the MMC version multiple times. I really like it. The only thing that has stopped me is knowing there is a FT version and an Official version most likely in the works. FansToys is really the only 3rd party version of characters that I'm likely to stick with even after an official version comes out though. And I figure rather than double dip (again) on a character I'll just wait for FT or MP, and go with whichever comes out first. That's not to say that the waiting doesn't get excruciating sometimes though. Especially with a collection finale.

^ I couldn't wait anymore and went with the MMC Trailbreaker. He's decent but if FT or TT ever releases theirs, it will be an insta-swapout of me......

I despise the idea of paying for placeholders. However, Trailbreaker was the last of my Arkbots (finishing my entire Autobot contingent), so I bit the bullet on getting the MMC, as the FT version sounds like it is very much on the back burner (probably not until after the triple changers, Skullchruncher, Superion and Menasor get released).

Of all of the Trailbreaker options, the MMC looked the best for my aesthetic tastes.

    YouTube (Handle):
How do you know that? They are currently unknown quantities and could be itutt crap (expensive crap at that)!

The MMC figure looks great in both modes, had solid build quality and is tangible. It's no placeholder for me .

Have BadCube's. Works for now. If FT redesigns theirs for 2019 articulation expectations, that would be welcome.

I hope that they don't go down the MP36 route of sacrificing aesthetics for articulation. I want my toys to look good; they don't need to be able to scratch their own backs while balancing on one leg, like they should be playing flute for Jethro Tull.

Cute, but as usual, the request is not for an extreme. No need to jump to the other end of the spectrum when the happy medium is all that is being requested. I don't want anything crazy either but after Hoodlum it's clear that delaying a figure for 12+months means it is owed a review of articulation engineering. Today expectations are higher than in 2015 and rightly so.
Waist, ankle, neck, and finger articulation are four key areas to get right. And they can all be done without negatively impacting design, especially when an experienced company is involved.

Now I want a Transforming Ian Anderson that triple-changes into a flute and a 1988 Best Hard Rock/Metal Grammy award.

How about transforming into a flute and a seed drill?
It could be a tillage changer.
