I'd rather wait, got enough toys to satisfy me til I die, but doesn't mean they should just move on cause their is one alternative out there.

This is a good way to play the game if you want to ensure as complete a collection as possible. And it's true that we don't NEED a bot that has a good alternative. Not sure Ditka qualifies on its own but given there's also Gewalt, yeah, this is not as urgent as Thomas or Sheridan or Chomp.

I just play the game as it comes. Even if I don't buy something produced. I appreciate it. Because if these fans didn't love it more than us, we wouldn't have them.

First: Way to bump an old thread with no news.
Second: the tank turret is removable from KFC’s version. You can choose to leave in place or optionally parts form to clean up the jet
Third: the replacement knees that now come with KFC’s make him pretty stable. That and the optional very long heel spurs means he stands up fine. He’s certainly more stable than Rouge.
Fourth: I’m still interested in FT’s because it does a lot of things very well. But KFC is far and away the most toon accurate in jet mode. It captures the flying nacho look better than any of the alternatives. KFC will be my jet mode, FT will probably be my bot mode and it could go either way for the tank mode display.

Come on man, this dude just joined and you're gonna bust his stones for commenting on a thread that was active 2 weeks ago?
You may be his first interaction on these forums, I'm not sayin you gotta give em a handy in the corner or anything but maybe just a touch of courtesy for the new guy?

Agree with this except being bothered that someone bumped the thread. I'm not bothered by it- It's a discussion thread after all and we post when we see it or have something to say, not just when we have updates. :2c:

WTF does Rouge have to do with the stability of a KFC Blitzwing?

Agree. This is a discussion forum. We bump when we want to discuss. And it's not like this is a dead thread from two years ago. This is an active and highly anticipated figure.

But the OP didn't say anything about heel spurs, Rouge, or FT in general.

The response seems like a random insertion of FT comparison it had nothing to do with the initial comment.

My take is that you shouldn’t try to read too much into the comparison.

Question was asked about stability. Answer contained several points about changes to new version that improved stability.

One of the points, the heel spurs, contained a comparison to another figure. It reads to me that the comparison could have been against any other figure, not specifically FT or Rouge.

Then they go on to discuss their thoughts on the FT vs XTB versions of Blitzwing. Perhaps there’s a bit of conflating the two subject matters on your part?

I wasn't a fan of Ditka from the get go. Before FT announced their version of BW and AT, I was fine with just not having MP versions of those two. Thank the TF Gods that FT comes through again. Anxious to see this come to fruition. I suspect FT AT will come out way before FT BW though.

Of course it will, they already have a color prototype of Astrotrain and still only a CAD of Blitzwing.

All good. And my bad on the criticism for bumping. Didn’t realise you were new because the mobile version of the forum doesn’t display that info. I own KFC’s Ditka and wasn’t sure if you or others do so wanted to clarify some info.
Mobile version doesn’t indicate whether a user is new or not. Just states their name. And you’ll see on the previous page the exact same sort of criticism being made for bumping a thread without news.
