The hate this figure received was really stupid at the time. It was a beautiful figure with the metallic paint and the clean look. You cannot make it a real world item like a jet or car with more detail so these animal like ones should not go outlandish with false details and try to follow the toon. It got a lot of unfair QC hits because it had a deceptive extra click up on the canopy to lock it in place. The floating feet caused a lot of consternation but it looked and worked fine to me and it was important to keep the lock. How many times do we get that worked up about the feet looking perfect when they usually look like crap. I also really liked the Dracula even with some of the wing ratchet issues. Another awesome figure with clever engineering even if some color choices and engineering choices could have been made to match the original better. I am still so eager for Chomp but glad they took the time to reengineer because of the space issues with the legs and tail hiding in the calves. It's basically their Dibot problem on steroids.
