He was also a lonely Headmaster. With Dracula out now and Chomp hopefully on the way soon I think having the whole team released will have people interested.

he was a lonely headmaster and his counterpart, Maketoys Cupola, was a pretty good figure of a character either most people didn't care for, or complained was too tall (perhaps unaware that Maketoys Cupola was scaled to Headmasters, and not Rebirth). At the time headmasters just weren't en vogue and larger concerns were on the highly anticipated arrival of MP Megatron or FT Sovereign, who came out a month after Lupus. So poor Lupus essentially lost out to the 2 most well known Decepticon leaders from G1.

Also Lupus is a relatively simple figure that failed to impress people, especially given some of FT's other releases that year (the dinobots, insecticons) and a few months later on (Sovereign, Phoenix).

I mean, I bought Lupus when he was released and I even forgot I had him in storage until a few months ago. Now he's by my monitor screen as I type.

Yup. Dracula is one of my absolute favorite figures in my collection. He's huge, fun to transform and pretty posable.

Yes, I bought mine NIB on Ebay at $90 when it was first released and sold it without even opening it as I was not that impressed by Youtube reviews. Regret to death when FT announced Mindwipe and Skullcruncherand luckily I was able to buy at again at $88 (during the good old 20% ebay flash sales.....) before the price skyrocketed.

Since then, I has picked up almost every FT release even if I am not that impressed. So all in all, buy Mindwipe when it is still relatively easy to get as you can't rule out the chance that his price will also skyrocket once Skullcruncheris released.

I kinda hope it doesn't get re-issued, selfishly, because I paid through the nose for mine.

That's what we call "late tax" and we all have to pay it from time to time.

I've never bought from these guys before, Chinese site that mainly does electricals I think, but I found Lupus here at retail.

Thought I'd take the risk, can always claim money back if dodgy... they still have it in stock.

Not a great start, my order is "open", it wants me to pay twice, the website is the worse I've ever used, but my paypal has sent them some money. We'll see eh. Thank god for paypal buyer protection though, I feel like I've just fucked a riddled prostitute with the world's thinnest condom.

    That cracked me up!

If it wasnt for buyer protection, I wouldnt touch it. Gave me a bit of hope tgat I saw a limited number of FT products, several of which said out of stock.

I'll def keep you all posted.
