That's okay, I'm sure it will delay the figures some of us want most like Jabber, Chomp, and Sheridan.

 

Sales were good at initial release. Then when FT Dracula/Mindwipe was announced, Lupus really starting selling like hotcakes.
It would be a smart move for FT to reissue Lupus (and Dracula if needed) when they reveal color test shots of Chomp.

 

A reissue would make sense when Skullcruncher is released. Then you know people will try to pickup all 3 at once.

Well I just listed him for a lot less than Ebay is asking for him, so I'll hafta see what happens.

Ok, so dalianjj hinted at their being a Lupus reissue on March 4th and 5th (2 weeks ago). Until it actually happens I'd check with him every other month or so.
Things have been subject to change lately with FT. Dalianjj once said Cesium X was coming and now he has confirmed that it is cancelled.

 

I just paid $200 for this dude!  

 

Come on, you must know the possibility of a re issue is always there. In fact there's a very limited amount of FT which didn't get a second run

 

LUPUS didnt sell good at all so I thought they wasn't doing a reissue

 

It sold well, especially once Dracula was announced.
You can always try selling it for $210 to see if anyone will bite since news about the possible reissue hasn't spread yet. That way you at least make your money back and then wait for the reissue.

 

i got lupus like a year ago for like $100 flat. he sat for a minute in most places. had they not put out mindwipe he’d still be sitting. this is the reason i haven’t got sovereign & spotter yet. i’m not paying $260 for sovereign. i don’t love galvatron like that.

 

its just the way collecting goes we have all been caught out like this at some point

 

I got mine from baba on Ebay. He and mane other legit Chinese sellers had it for between $100-$105 shipped for the longest. Even less during an Ebay flash sale. With a deal like that there was no way I was gonna pay NA retailer prices.

 

Has anyone else broken the right foot off at the ankle of Lupus? There is a pretty stupid design flaw that sucks. If you look at the left ankle, there is a kind of buttress part supporting the connection, but this is missing on the right ankle. I repaired it using epoxy, a pin, and an added piece of plastic for a little support. Now I am thinking of selling it because I have some adult bills, but I don't know what to do with it. Is it worth it to sell broken? Should I just try eBay and see what I can get? If I can't get much, I would rather keep it. Any ideas?

The first two pictures are of the side I repaired and the third is of the left ankle. They both needed that buttress piece, but for whatever idiotic reason, FansToys didn't do it. There is no logical reason for it not to be there.

 

Send a PM to dalianjj (or email [email protected]) with the pics and explanation of the parts you need. If they have the parts then they can send them to you and you can hang on to the figure.

 

Sorry to hear that, I personally wouldn't drop that amount of cash for a "flawed" figure.

 

I am not selling the figure because it is broke. It is fine now that I repaired it. I am selling some of my collection to pay some bills that need to be paid. Adult stuff sucks. Lupus is one I am considering parting with, but if I can't get much for it, it isn't worth it to me to part with it. If I got a replacement part, it would only be to sell it. I highly doubt parts are still available, but I asked anyway. A replacement panel still wouldn't address the real issue of the panel being a flawed design. Look at the ankles on your Lupus and see if you can tell me why they have different support structures for the ankle attachment.
