The robot mode looks a bit blocky and bland to me, but the wolf mode, while still a bit blocky, seems to have some impressive articulation, especially in the head and tail.
A pleasant surprise.

Hopefully this either lights a fire under their butt to get back with it, or allows FT to take control.

I want my headmasters, don't care if FT or MT does them. Both camps are quality.

 

Preach on, buddy, ridiculous line of thought to be frank. The robot mode could be worked on a tiny little bit, like Jsix did on FT's Springer...to make him more organic, other than that he looks spot on to the toon, the wolf mode is brilliant. The headsuclpt could be worked on a bit, the forehead seems a bit too big, it could be reduced a little bit.

I'm very pleased FT went the headmaster route, in doing characters TT aren't likely to do anytime soon, it's exciting, it's why I got into third party...to supplement and complement. I'm not particularly keen on seeing season 1&2 guys tt will more than likely be making...and will pass them all day, with the exception of FT's Galvatron which I feel I'm likely to cave in and buy.

Hopefully we'll see some more targetmasters, Triggerhappy will do nicely, one of my favourite G1 toys as a kid, then maybe, hopefully an MP Computron someday. What, a guy can dream, can't he?

 

 

This isnt bad! I like it better seeing the wolf mode. Wasnt expecting FT to do headmasters. Curious to see a hypothetical MT one, though. I like their aesthetic on the headmasters just a little more.

 

shouldn't bite but annoys me sometimes when people bash on others for liking something   the more choices the more people get the collection that suits them personally..

 

Apart from it looks highly screen accurate. It's cool though, you can pass and wait for someone else to do one that looks incredibly similar, noone will think any less of you  

 

Impressive alt mode

 

Silver? Nope! Deal-killer for me if that's the final color. Weirdwolf was never silver, period. Changing minor accents are one thing, but that's a main color of his palette.

 

It took me a while to like this when I saw it. Really boxy proportions. After looking at the original character design I like this more and more. It's at least a 7/10 figure.

Alt mode is really amazing. Might have to leave him that way.

FT is knocking it out of the park lately. Let's hope springer gets a MAJOR correction before release, though I am a bit doubtful that will happen. Still, galvatron, skyfire, grimlock, weirdwolf, and a so-so blitzwing are great things to look forward to.

 

Now Ft is in the Headmaster game, fantastic! I'm in.

Umm, they haven't released any more HM after hardhead?! And the Pointblank prototype looks incredible. I wasn't even planning on getting any head or target masters, but after seeing Pointblank, I might jump into all of them!

 

After seeing the wolf mode, im going to be broke. I changed my mind and am buying.

I have cupola and will get hardhead when it goes on sale. Pointblank looks amazing.

Maybe I'll wait until I see an MT prototype for weirdwolf before jumping on this. This is nice, but I feel like they could have done just a bit more with the bot mode, although it is very close to the toon, so maybe there are no complaints to be made there. This is a good figure, but doesn't make me jump for my wallet. I'm curious to see what MT does.

Well, I'm glad that Fanstoys showed off their new Tesla head sculpt, because it finally gave me the impetus I needed to sell him off. I love FT, I really do, but I can't believe I ever liked that thing. The crumbling plastic doesn't help either. Maybe Perfect Effect or Takara or anyone else can do better.
