Feels like I’ve been waiting for reissues for this guy and Dracula forever.

but those prices combined with Chomp’s shoulders have left me feeling completely cold. Kinda feeling fine with keeping a tidier, more simple collection now.

Fair, but, it doesn't change the fact that lots of people will buy the KO over the official, provided the KO is not trash. Heck even if it is, people will buy it.

If the KO was inconsequential as you suggest, Fans Toys would not have gotten so upset over it.

I sold my Dracula and Lupus off last year and I'm definitely still out on any of these headmaster reissues, especially at the current prices. I'm happy people are finally getting a shot at these figures thought.

"FT-18 gets a reissue! FT-18 Lupus is based on the original G1 Headmaster Weirdwolf and is made from quality die-cast parts and plastic. Also included with the figure are new faces for FT-09 Tesla."

How many more faces does Tesla need!?

If that’s accurate, the faces would be for the old version of Perceptor/Tesla and I can attest that that figure definitely needs yet another new face.

Oh that's a nice touch! Just when I thought they had abandoned older figures to the point of not even mentioning they exist. #prayersforcesiumreissue

Ah, I think I have Fans Toys Number blindness. That totally makes sense for the old one. I was (obviously) thinking of the new one and his excessive amount of faces.

That's an old disclaimer and probably just recycled like their item page for the figure..and didn't remember to remove the fact. I posted it on FB to see and they reused it just like i suspected.

Or that new face is the reason behind the $220 price tag. It’s NEW and IMPROVED!!

They upped the price on Dracula not Lupus though..MSRP wise. 219.99 is triple changer or big figure scale price.

At original release most US retailers could not give Dracula away at $150USD discount... he just sat, sat, and sat on the store shelves at that price.

Huh, that’s strange. Maybe Lupus is a triple-changer now.

    TF-Robots?
Nice store, but probably the most expensive shop I've found to date.

We are getting set price points with the part count and height of the figure..like basic or mini(119), deluxe (159), super (189), Ultra(219), Supreme. Something to that effect. He's a 9 inch figure. So what will Hydra be? He's trapped in limbo

Yep, TF-Robots. Owner is a great guy, always up for a chat, but he is too damn expensive to even consider buying from. I get that he can't offer the same price as a Bombusbee or Show.Z (because shipping, import-tax, etc), but the 50-80% markups are crazy. Though official Takara MP releases are decently priced, since he is partnered with Hasbro. Skids and Nightbird are cheaper at his place than from most Chinese retailers, it's just everything 3rd party that's unaffordable.

I am sorry but I have no clue what you are talking about in my slave language but I was referring to this price:

    9703468A-B91A-4E06-A68F-2B381EDF3CB3.jpeg

Which is $219.99 but I rounded it up to $220 because it was quicker to write. Everything else you wrote has no relevance about the price I quoted because I didn’t count the parts.
