My problem with KFC's is the middle guy has Galvatron-like shoulder pads...bugs me.

Felt same way and did order Maketoys. But...they look a tad cheapish, plus pics don't represent how PURPLE the Maketoys set is. I thought I could maybe do a few paint mods and enjoy them, but they are PURPLE. They aren't "sorta' purple," they are PURPLE. Really makes them look off to me on my shelf and it's tough to stand pat with them for me personally. Almost thinking about getting the KFC set if only because they are actually blueish in spite of their tiny heads, lol.

I recently replaced my Maketoys with FT.

Found one at a local shop and haggled with the owner. Got 11% off from the original price.

Wow. The price is going crazy for spotter. I would love to see someone take Spotter to the Pawn Stars guys and see what they would give for it. I'm thinking about $20.

I'm honestly surprised these are not getting reissued, people are willing to pay way more than retail to get them so it'd seem a no brainer to do it, unless there is an issue with the molds or something like that of course

 

That's his asking price, not what it's sold for. He'll never sell that unless it's part of a scam to fictionally raise the values.

Looking at sales from the past couple months, he's selling anywhere from $250-300.

Actually, prices on the bay seem to have up-ticked a little. I just paid $200 shipped for mine through a fellow TFW2005 member though.

Wow, makes me glad that I bought all the Spotters that I would ever need back when they first came out. Reflector is easily one of my favourites, and he makes a great army builder.

 

With no Spotter reissue in sight, I might have to settle with the KFC Opticlones (if their reissue ever comes).
I'm personally not a fan of MakeToys Visulizer.

I acquire a copy of KFC opticlones before they became rare. I am pretty happy with them. They are a little taller than what I would like but I am satisfied enough not to play over the odd for FT spotter unless it is reissued.
