The reissue has the diecast clips installed compared to the plastic one that broke off easily. That is the only thing I know of.

I still wish they were tighter. I have the reissue and he still wants to fall over.

I want to give a shoutout to @dalianjj for giving top notch service for FT. I did an oopsie with my Soar and broke the crest on top of his shiny metallic beak. Man I was bummed and I almost went online to eBay to get another one, but I remembered how @dalianjj had helped me a while back when I broke off one of the plates off Sever's leg. He hooked me up for a very small fee and this time he did it again! Amazing!!!! $8 and my Soar will be as good as new and I have learned my lesson. No more free standing on my shelf. He tipped forward and from a simple fall on his front side this was the result. And no he did not even fall off the shelf. He just tipped forward and did a face plant. Thanks FT!!!

All these years I was unhappy about the slight gap under the black neck part in robot mode. Today I discovered I hadn't been pushing the dinoneck down quite far enough!

I would have just glued it back on.

Somewhat related yet unrelated, I recently bought a used FT Willis only to find that those small flaps at the base of his feet (they form the rear of the Jeep in vehicle mode) were broken off. I emailed FansToys with pics hoping for some replacement parts, and that’s basically what I was told: doesn’t look that broken to me, just glue them back on. And that there were no spare parts available at the factory anyway, so maybe that puts any ideas about an imminent Willis re-release to test. Didn’t mean to hijack, back to regularly scheduled Soar/Swoop talk!

Same thing happened to me, luckily a board member hooked me up with his spare - cost a bit more but arrived faster, so I was happy.

It's good to know FT still has spare parts for Soar for situations like this.

I have one for sale in the Junkion threads if anyone is having a hard time finding one for a reasonable price and is still looking.

This is an extra Soar that I purchased. It is MIB only opened a few months ago to display, never played with or transformed.

PM me if you need him in your life.

Swoop is one that Im sure is prone to shelf falling. I went out and bought the Yeti stand and it's a bit better but still sketchy.

Are you going to try to repair him? Pinning where the joints broke might work pretty well if your just going to display him but not for play.

This is a the gist of the method I use to pin broken plastic parts on bad quality KO figures I have bought in the past that just fall apart.

How to Fix a Broken Plastic Toy

It has worked pretty well for me in the past, no perfect but pretty good.

Well that's some amazing Fanstoys customer service right there.

Good luck to you and post a pic after he's repaired.

Man, tell me about it. So many folks' Soar taking dives off the shelf. People may want to start displaying Soar on a lower area. Mine on the bottom shelf.

    Thank goodness.

Ouch, mine fell off my shelve as well years ago as I walked by. Luckily I could catch him before he hit the ground.

Damn shame. Glad FT has the parts for repair. I like him in bot mode, but it's def not the safest for display.

Haven't had any falling mishaps luckily bit I have had some Sore issues. When grinder came out and the upgraded face came with him I went to swap it out and the connection was so tight I broke the peg that held it on. I fixed it with a pin and glue but it was never the same.

Fast forward a couple weeks ago I decided to take a chance for replacement and Dalianjj came through. Not my first experience with FT's aftermarket assistance and while I never look forward to having to ask for replacement I have yet to be disappointed.

No issues with being considered a Fanstoys fanboy.

It's safe for display but just not on the top shelf outside of any glass encasing.
Mine is sitting perched in alt mode in a bottom glass shelf.
