Was reading about this neck assembly issue on the reissue and my soar which I just got last month is a 2014 original release. I noticed the head of soar naturally tilts up and I can push it down but it doesn't go completely flat to the plastic it is attached to. It gets pretty close. Wondering if this is the neck assembly issue. I read the neck assembly issue is the head will tilt forwards and if mine is tilted up..that would mean it is tilted backwards. I do know the head on the ball joint feels a bit tight so maybe these are different things.

Tbh those early Dibots had such a variety of problems with them from figure to figure. My Soar has a dash of blue paint on one nose and one of the red tabs doesn't slot into his head properly in Dibot mode unless you have it at a slight angle.

On a more positive note, problems aside, I have to say that Soar is absolutely one of my most favourite figures that I've ever owned. I still think he's stunning.

Yep it looks amazing. Mine has ankles that seem a bit weak and will topple forward if not careful. I can still get it to stand but maybe better to use the display stand

Nah. That doesn't count. I'm talking about identical looking KOs.

Mine is like fatty's..the head is angled up and I could push it down and it will come down more but not fully flat.

For mine.. i think the more I push it down, the closer it comes to getting flat.. if move his head to 45 degrees and push the head down.. then it also seems to help it flatten.. its not perfect but i guess close enough.

Still waiting. I think they shipped out the parts for Soar last week along with my Phoenix FT-10X replacement shoulder.

ok.. keep us posted. For mine... I could move his head down and it gets close to being flat.. but not quite there... wondering if I should pull his head off and take a look at the peg.. a bit scared though... could you move yours or it wouldnt budge at all?

I'd follow up them to check the status just to be sure.

The head would move, but his chin could not go past a certain point and therefore he would only look up. It was very unnatural looking. I could lift the neck up and get him to look straight, but that looked wrong as well.

I'd pull off the head and take a look at your peg if you're experiencing the same thing. It does take some force though, it doesn't pop right off.

I checked in with dalianjj in the last week and my parts for both sets should be in the mail. I'll let y'all know how it turns out.

Mine looks exactly like yours and i think reacts the same ways as yours. His head will go down but at a certain point.. it wont go down further.

After pulling it off.. did you try to put the head back on?

No, I haven't tried to put it back on. I have him in dino-mode while waiting for replacement parts.

Ok.. you think it would have been easy to pop it back on?
