PLZ note that the CG render just showed basic color scheme, the final product will have more painted detail.

    yes! :rock

now the question is do i get just blue, or red and blue on this one!?!

swoop was one of two dinobots i actually had as a kid, so i could appreciate both the toon and toy colors here. (need some black on the head of the toy deco.)

if the price is significantly lower than scoria i might be able to get both.

wasupwitdat neck in alt mode though? shouldn't it sit a little lower on the torso? :sly:

hoping for some chrome wings. at least on the toy deco.

EDIT: 2nd batch of pictures really showed how hawt this item is. I'm just going to preorder the blue and just wait for it to show up. :)

Nice! Does this mean you're releasing the toy and cartoon colors at the same time?

Not bad. Not as good looking as Scoria though. I'll buy it.

I think the Ptera neck could use more hinges, so that it can be positioned to look like it's coming out of the body, and not from on top of it. As in, bend it one click down, then one click up again, like a Z-shape.

Still wish THIS: http://www.tfw2005.com/boards/radic...erpiece-swoop-sludge-snarl-2.html#post9274985 transformation scheme would be used some day for an MP swoop. It's the best I've ever seen---the arms and legs actually fold into a small compact Ptera body, and isn't "a robot hanging underneath".

Honestly, after how neat/complex/ingenious Scoria's(and Quakewave's) transformation is--this seems much simpler and a step back. Even the G1 toy at least had the arms pull inwards a bit. Definitely has me re-thinking about whose Stego to buy, as this doesn't seem nearly as good as Scoria, in my eyes at least.

I don't want to jump to far ahead dalianjj but if we see scoria in may sometime do you know approximately when we might see this? I only ask cuz a close guess will help me plan for it. Thanx

I know Swoop is supposed to be the least robust of the Dinobots but this representation seems a little too anorexic and spindly, especially in the legs. They look like metallic toothpicks. Need some bulking up.

...Okay, I just actually woke up the whole bloody household because of my scream of glee...
It's Swoop! Swoop is my favorite of the Dinobots! (Grimlock is a CLOSE second)
I am going to be pre-ordering him (gonna go blue chested) the SECOND he is available^^

My one caveat is the scowl Swoop has. In all honesty I'd prefer a more neutral expression or even a faint smirk (in my defense, Swoop smirked a LOT in the comics, it's an expression I associate with him^^)

Looks good, but I'm a little concerned about the lack of waist articulation. I'm sure I'll still buy two though (toon and comic).

    Looks pretty good to me!

Surprised no one mentioned the number 5 silhouette, yet... so I'm guessing it's official? :)
