Really rinsing the scoria mold   anyone getting all of them? Would be awesome to see them altogether

 

I cant believe this, but I actually like the transparent smokey dino head option... wouldn't mind getting that too.

My favorites are in order the X version, then Toy version, then the blue Diaclone.

Probably, the diaclone blue Slag would go nicely with blue swoop, and blue swoop would no longer be the odd bot out. So, Grimlock in the middle, then on each of his side Swoop and Slag, then Sludge and Snarl on the farther sides. Or maybe Sludge and Snarl on each side of Grimlock (maybe a diaclone version of Grimlock with blue detailed crotch), then Blue slag and swoop on the furthest corner. In any case, I think the blue slag brings a lot on the table in terms of color matching for those going with Blue Swoop.

 

I wanted that transparent head all along. So it's going to be a separate item?

 

I just want blue eyes for my toy version to go with everyone else... I just really wanted consistency with the black heads from my memory of the toys, but prefer the blue eyes all around.

 

I believe the toy version only comes with red eyes, at least for the Dino mode as a minimum.

 

The transparent head looks awesome. I'm really looking forward to having that option to make my X version look even better.

Dalianjj, any chance of similar translucent heads being sold for the other Dibots? And do you have any idea when the FT-05 X versions will be offered for preorder, since FT-06X jumped ahead of them in the release schedule?

Oh! Wanted to recolor my 2nd Scoria into a Diaclone version... I guess I will forget that and buy the official version. Personally I don't care about the g2.
Any release date for those?

 

Guess I am sticking with the Sever Diaclone PO, look forward to the Scoria D version too.

I don't care about boxes, but I think I am the only one that actually likes this new type of box more than the standard one. It just looks more simple and appealing to me. I kinda wish the X version will be similar, but curious to see how that will turn out.

 

I assume this is a FT-04 exclusive thing, as I know Unicron WMD has been doing a lot of the art for FTs upcoming boxes. My guess is that Scoria used different artist's image and they decided to go this route rather than commission more art.

Just a guess, though. I do like this style of box.

 

The new box is sort of boutique-y, if that makes any sense. Not bad, but I wouldn't prefer it overall.

Waiting for the toy version has taken so long I more or less pushed Slag to the far back of my mind. Between the box pics and that awesome awesome clear head the fires of anticipation have been rekindled to a blaze. Cannot wait to get this guy.

 

Odd that they didn't just recolor the toon art though...that's what they did with toy Soar. I have no real preference either way, though it is cool to get a glimpse of Scoria's lineart (assuming it's original) given the Grinder debate.

Not anytime soon, anyway. I have a feeling that with the toy version releasing you may find someone willing to unload their toon version at a reasonable price.
