Just saw the pics. Had to log on via my phone since for some reason my computer isn't loading the pictures..

The only thing I'd complain about the LEDs is the color of the eye. I'd want it to be yellow..

 

Very cool looking, wish it was going to be voyager sized to go with Hegemon. That said, I am very happy for all you MP collectors, this will be a nice addition.

So does anyone know how this transforms? Ie do both legs form the handle which will then be thicker than on g1 shockwave, and if so where does the backpack come from to given that the gunbarrel is now in that position? And as for gunbarrel itself, does it simply peg onto the back?

 

Can't wait I think all 3rd party toys should employ the plastic Hegemon is using, real sturdy. I hope this Shockwave is well built because it's looks good. Cartoon colors for me as well.

To answer the original question: darker purple please!

 

Two pics have been removed from the OP but it looked like the bulk of the legs becomes what is the rear of the gun (the backpack in the G1 fig) thus leaving the gun handle quite thin. The barrel looks like it becomes the new backpack in robot mode albeit alot thinner.....which can only be a good thing as he won't be back/top heavy then.

Looking forward to final colour pics but this is so bought.

Definitely buying this! Not only because it looks fantastic, but also in the hopes that FT will take the $$$ they make off of this and put it into following this up with FT-04...

I see 2 things happening here,

1.Takara decide to kill it by fast tracking their own Masterpiece Shockwave.

2.Fans Toys get this one released and it's awesome.

Either way collectors win.

I would like Fans Toys to succeed as the protos they have shown so far are up there with Takara and iGear in terms of faithfullness to the G1 designs and another company with that capability is more than welcome.

Nice figure, I prefer cartoon colors because the Masterpiece line is suposed to be cartoon acurate.

Well i hope this spurs Takara to make a MP Shockwave at least.

This looks great, but i have a few problems that are preventing me from exploding, firstly the legs although being bulkier don't look like the cartoon model, secondly he better come with a yellow eye and lastly for me the hose should be under the arm, so it doesn't restrict movement and so that it is under-slung like a power cable going to his hand. As it is now i'm interested for sure but hope they make some slight changes or that Takara make their own version.

Either way i'll probably buy this still as they got the upper body pretty much spot on, except the colors but it's a proto so who knows.
