Now smack on a mouth-shield on the combined mode bot's head to look like Machine Wars Optimus Prime and I'll buy this.

Not keen if it's just another Thunderclash head in combined mode as he'll just be an overly chunky monkey version of Thunderclash.

There needs to be a difference.

 

I've gone from a 'FUCK NO' to a 'Let me see this in colour, this actually looks like a significant retool and I'm now fairly interested as I don't own any other Power Baser variants and provided they nail down the layout this could see Lazarus like levels of hype resurrection on my part'.

Aha! Powered mode is IDW styled (loosely; see knee pads, shoulder-squares) and cab-bot is totes G1.

 

Like the look of the cab-bot.

Depending how the fundage is at the time, I think I'm in for this.

Though I'll keep secretly hoping for a CHUG scale version of this concept.

 

If they would sell just the core robot, then I might get it.

The whole set, absolutely not. No interest in the super mode and too expensive (and big) to keep it in the box.

 

The cab-bot is MP-10 size which can be considered CHUG Leader-Class size. It is intended for MP, but there is no reason you can't just treat it as an expensive Leader Class Thunderclash.

 

That is my thoughts too. Although the scale freak in me would like the cab bot voyager sized

 

I'd like the option of just buying the core bot, still not feeling the combined mode. That said, the only reason I'm not feeling it is strictly because I already have Power Baser so I can't divorce the similarities in my brain. Otherwise I think this'll be a marvelous set.

 

Another vote for "just want the cab-bot." I know he had the trailer battle station, but it's too much a retool of the power master armor that I just don't want it.

Oh, and like MMC's IDW version, I want a Machine Wars repaint

I love my MMC one, but this is totally different.
