Looks a little too stylized for my tastes, I'm hoping Perfect Effect does one that's closer to the show more along the lines of their optimal optimus.

 

Yes this appears to be based (at least color wise) on the Botcon version where they based the TM2 Megatron he showed you the picture of.
But looks like it's their own thing and not directly related to either directly.

 

So it is based on the Botcon version, that means RID Megatron with BW TM2 colors.

If this is a TFCon exclusive I'll pick it up, but otherwise I won't go out of my way to get this. I have BotCon 2016 Megatron. I don't need this as it's so far removed from the original source, it's almost not worth it. It's basically an homage to an homage to an homage. This is something I'd expect out of Hasbro if they still gave a shit about Beast Wars. Not to mention this things is going to cost close to $200! For that money, I'd rather wait and pick up PE's new mold of the original TM2 Megs. Not some cheap doofy repaint with a new head.

 

Sweet Jesus. This would go incredibly with Beast Gorira. I need this....

Yeah so I have no interest.
I want a real TM2 style megatron.
Come on Perfect effect.

 

It's cool, BUT if they do it I wouldn't mind some sort of flip-out robot hand rather than just the dragon heads on both hands.

 

Does anyone have Feilong and Beast Gorira for a comparison?

 

I feel like having this homage Car Robots Gigatron/RID Megatron would've been a better choice.
