Given their other figures are so beefy, I’m surprised they are making megs look scrawny here....
Probably so tidal wave integrates better. Longer arms means better connection. Maybe
Got to leave room for Shockwave/TidalWave
No offense met, I absolutely love that we're getting some armada love. But any chance we could get some more accurate figures? I mean again, not ragging on this, looks cool, just venting a bit.
If/when these sell well, others will kick up and do their own takes. FansHobby isnt known for accuracy, but these are FAR superior than the CW one
Not to be rude but I think instead of talking about changes they could make with this figure on here where they can't see our comments why not say it to them on Facebook or Twitter? They actually do listen to fans and It's thanks to constructive criticism that their Overlord turned out as good as it did.
Why not both? I've mentioned my peace on their Instagram post, but it is still worthy of discussion here as well
Both is fine.
Cool that it’s probably for a whole other figure, but how about we focus on the actual main villain being good and well proportioned and then worry about how the add-ons connect? Like isn’t tidal wave massive? I’m sure he would have plenty of room to connect to proper arms that could actually support the weight.
Because fuck social media.
I like the new direction this company is taking.
I'm thinking it will look bigger and better in the end design.
I'm all in for a full line of MP Scaled Armada figures. Give me Hot Shot, Red Alert, Cyclonus, Demolisher, and Starscream to round out the main cast after this. But knowing FansHobby, we'll get Tidal Wave and Jetfire next because they love their combiner armor.
...he said using social media.
I feel the EXACT same way about Armada. Fans hobby was the first to finally step up to the plate.....and now I feel like Armada will never get the Masterpiece love it deserves.....
They pretty much HAVE abandoned the idea of G2 Megatron, but hopefully this will encourage them to pick it back up. If nothing else, maybe there's the possibility of a heavy retool for the G2 figure, which is perhaps my most wanted MP figure.
I could see them re-tooling this into a G2 Megs.
True. The designs do look good though. The way Fans Hobby goes he would be at least 12 inches
It dawned on me that maybe they want to avoid another 'to thick for it's own good' combined figure like Powerbaser + God Armor? Just a thought.
I'm not 100% sure, but I'm guessing they can see them here - plenty of companies listen in on these forums, and sometimes they even chime in. For example Lazy Aza does work for Mastermind Creations, iBot is with KFC/X-Transbots, and Aaron Archer chimed in on the Banana Force Galaxy Prime thread not that long ago.
I'm down for some MP Armada figures.
