Does Meg Tyranno have the grooves in his hands to hold weapons the same as Naval Commander? It’s near impossible to get Naval Commander to hold any of the Mini-Con weapons.

As a follow up to that, is there any indication that the four main mini-con teams will be made at some point down the line?

Yeah Megatron will have the same groove system as NC, I think only FH's car scaled bots use the normal peg system other MP figure use.

As for the mini-con teams, we have no idea.

The slider is such a genius way to hold weapons, I think it was Maketoys that did it first on their Cross Dimension line? Wish all 3rd parties and Hasbro would adopt it personally.

I at least want Fans Hobby to do a weapon pack for these two based on the Mini-Con weapons. It’d be a cool add on kit consisting of the Starsaber/Dark Starsaber (for use with Megatron) the Skyboom shield and the Requiem blaster.

First run preorder incentive could be a couple of Mini-Con panels for these guys to hold.

Plus if that Skyboom shield has a Minicon port on the back it'll probably be compatible with Legacy Armada Starscream.

After seeing how the Prime Bulkhead and Arcee have turned out I’m kinda worried about that now, I just hope Fans Hobby have him on their radar to go with NC and MT if the Legacy Armada Starscream is bad.

I don't think there's much to worry about, Prime's aesthetic is much more out there than any other iteration other than maybe Animated. The UT is aesthetic is pretty damn close to WFC and Legacy, look at what admittedly little we've seen of Metroplex. The mistake they made was showing off Prime before Robots In Disguise, Armada and Cybertron. Had they been first I think it would have been less of a bucket of cold water to the first.

It's kind of weird not seeing Megatron's arms coming out of the tank treads, since that's how all toys of Armada Megatron have done them (really it's just been the original mold so far but still).
But seeing as this guy has better arm and leg proportions than the original and hides most of the head (but not all cause that would fully take away from the charm) it's already an improvement.

Cause you can still do all this awesome shit.

Pretty sure the whole thing about Armada was converting playsets that happen to be robots and vehicles too, so many fun gimmicks and play features like Blurrs VTOL mode or even just being able to plug Swindle under Starscreams nose cone and then “deploying” him.

I love that Fans Hobby really understand that with their Optimus and Megatron, although they definitely could have done more for Primes base mode even if it was just some seats or display screens for Sparkplug to look at. I kinda prefer them swapping out the Mini-Con flip out ports for a turret for Leader-1 to use.

Oh they certainly had a lot of play features overall but Armada Megatron was far away the most direct in that regard, with all the play of a basemode but not HAVING a base mode

Honestly I was at first bothered by the pink face but now seeing as it's really desaturated I'm not bothered by it.

And also thank god they went with the solid Purple hands rather than the purple hands with black fingers.
