Hey, need a little bit of help. How do I change the faceplate?

 

I found the different face plates but it has been an issue to replace them. It did not come with the screws and it looks to be glued.

You should be able to remove the screws from the back of the head and opened it up to change the batteries and face. Mine did not come with screws and it looks like it might have been glued.

 

Follow up with Fans Hobby with images and a copy of the receipt of purchase. They have been good with Customer Service. Sorry to hear that happen to you.

Hey no need to unscrew the head for the faceplace. Just use your fingernail or a small spudger tool to push the face out and replace it with the alternate face.

 

With my confidence in my customizing ability at an all time high, I finally bought a Meg-Tyranno.


I always held off because I didn't like the face. But no more!

Interestingly, the original Armada toy and FH have nearly identically sized faces.




With that in mind, I cast a duplicate of the original toy's face, which I'll be carving to fit into Meg-Tyranno's helmet. Hopefully it goes well!

 

Woke up to see the rachets in one of the legs isn't working. anything I can do to fix that?

 

I really need face kits based on animation settings.

 

depends on why it stopped working. Take it apart, if anything has been ground down or broken then you'll need replacement parts or an improvised fix depending on what's wrong.

 

The rachet gear has a small tab that holds it into the ring. This tab snapped. It is too small to glue. Is their customer support reliable?

Got to slim it down quite a bit yet (still about 20-30% too thick) but the details carried through pretty well. Once it's thinned up, I just need to carve it to fit into the helmet. And then paint it I suppose hahaha.

Sucks having to take it slow as I am, but with a torn TFCC in my right wrist, I have no choice.  

 

Seems the tank barrel recoily mechanism has stopped working. I can no longer rotate the tank barrel up or down without excessive force and the little silver rotation piece on top won't move either direction must base a few degrees. Anyone else encountered this and/or seen a way to remedy it?

 

I had the same problem initially. While your mileage may vary I think I may have had the barrel in the wrong way as after taking it out and rotating it I eventually got the mechanism working as intended

 

well uh... they didn't follow up on my email. Think it's worth a 2nd try even though I got it in December?
