Now that I've got my pre-order in, does anybody have any suggestions as to a sword which would pair well with him. I feel for some reason like he should have a sword.

EDIT: It occurs to me that I have one which might work reasonably well, in the form of Leader Class Silver Knight Optimus Prime's sword. I guess I'll have to wait and see about that.

Not a bad idea but I don't really associate that with Prime so much. That and I was looking for something for his super mode.

 

While tangential, Nemesis DID have the dark Star Saber, so the silhouettes match kinda. But this Prime was more guns everywhere than swords. I'd wanna give him two rifles, myself. The new split trailer gives me trenchcoat vibes like AoE Crosshaies or any Matrix person

 

Yeah, surprisingly, Optimus only ever used the Star Saber once. When Starscream betrayed the Decepticons, he tossed the Star Saber to Optimus, who was cornered by Tidal Wave, and sliced Tidal Wave's boob, and the Mini-Cons stayed with Starscream afterwards. Just one swing of the Star Saber in the whole series.

 

He didn't use swords often until late Cybertron with Sonic Wing Mode and his finale fight with Galvatron using Rhisling. Badass moment by the by

 

I love that. Ending the war with Rhisling, in memory of Vector Prime. It's beautiful.

Your budget must be super limited. He's not exactly a cheap figure but he's really not that bad. A quick eBay check and he's in the 40 to 60 range (that's including shipping). Save money for a bit and you could probably get him.

 

Very. I have a stupidly high rent, loans to pay off, and many necessities to save up for, like a not-shitty car, and a low pay part time job. Praying I can find better jobs when I get back to my college city

Thanks, I'll need it haha. Halfway through college, so here's hoping my first real job pays well enough. Ideally I'd love to get into this franchise, even asked Archer about his process, but idk if my schooling will help me there. For reference, majoring as a mechanical engineer

 

Has anyone done a digi-bash of the super mode in Final Battle colors? I kind of want to see what that would look like.

 

Maybe learn some coding and do a little freelancing on Fiverr? Learning to code takes a few months, but it’s actually a great complement to your mechanical engineering degree. It’ll open up so many doors with both of those skills together, compared to only having just one of them.
