I'm not saying it'll ever happen, we were just talking hypothetically.

Honestly, I feel like validating Hasbro's attempts even if they're not great on the hopes they'll do more UT stuff.

 

Hey, you know what'd be cool? You know how Cybertron Deluxe BW Optimus Primal and Megatron had little miniature replicas of their starships, Axalon and Darksyde? What if FansHobby made miniature models of the Armada starships, Axalon and Hydra Cannon for their Armada Optimus and Megatron? I think it might already be too late to add anything to Optimus, but I still think it'd be really cool.

 

Not a bad idea, but honestly you get a better look of how it’s actually meant to come across “in universe” during the game cutscenes and the colours are super chalky looking.

I guess if they went with a matte colour then lightly gloss it you could get a nice mix.

I came across a digibash made by someone called @ian_reid on Twitter of what a potential nemesis would look like.



It does look very nice, and I’m not really sure how Fanshobby do this sort of thing when it comes to repaints but I would presume they’ll offer the full package for each release like what they did with Power Baser.

Personally speaking I’m willing to buy a Nemesis, PS2 and Powerlinx version on top of the main release just to support their project and prove there is money in the UT. Same goes for Galvatron, and I’d swing for a Powerlinx Starscream if they do make him.

That would be pretty cool, I’ll probably end up gifting the Nemesis version to my brother because that’s more his thing than mine. I wonder if we could get a limited con exclusive portraying the episode where Optimus gets dusted by the Hydra cannon?

There's other ways to get a dead Optimus.

 

MT seems to have decided to carry over names for the same characters across lines similar to how it is with Hasbro. For example they used Despotron in Re:Master before going for Rioter Despotron in CD.

I don't know why you would count them out. Takara has proven they can do some batshit insane retools and whatnot.

 

Regardless I highly doubt they would be able to accomplish the level of detail and articulation that fanshobby product provides... only way is if takara opts for a masterpiece armada prime IMO

It's a fact that Takara's has a Super Mode. 1) The seam in the crotch where it will split for the arms:



2) Fists for Super Mode. Note how they are articulated, so they're not just for show:

 

If that is the only thing holding you back then order somewhere you can cancel if you decide to and get it over with so that Takara will show theirs and end the mystery.

 

Nor did I though with red arms it'd also look like the random 5 pack Universe deco.
Then again the deco I wanna eventually see is the Energon Costco one but chances are the PS2 deco is somehow leagues more popular than that.

That would be cool. Though I'd love to also see the Nemesis looking Decepticon ship from the first ep and flashbacks; ditto for the Autobot ship as well.
