I wouldn't hold your breath. The Bendy Prime had no real differences other than Minicon and articulation, the latter of which this figure excels at anyway. Minicon I anticipate being released with Nemesis as he had no Sparkplug

Wow, I forgot how chonk that design truly was. It's awesome the fans of Armada and super modes are finally getting that 3p love.

Many here think it looks good, many also critique it on those points, not sure which you're asking

 

Regarding the Super Mode, I prefer the original's single giant buttflap as it reminds me of a cape, but don't mind the dual "coattail" buttflaps and sideskirts here, especially since I'd rather the pants focus on articulation over accuracy. As for the core robot's big damn skirt, yeah... not too thrilled. But honestly, I can look past it.

What really bothers me is the vehicle mode - more specifically, the front end. They tried to use the whole robot chest instead of just the grill, and... I dunno how to describe it, but it doesn't look good at all to me. I'm fine with change, but this isn't a good change.

 

Preorder secured. I never had the real one as a kid, only the one with the odd plane minicon. I am soooooo excited for this. $215 is a fair price for the size of this unit.

 

Man I'm gonna say this again , I wish they would sell the trailer and bot separately. I like the bot mode ,combined with anyone else but the trailer. I guess I'll wait to see jetfire and overload and see how those turn out. And maybe when this guy goes on discount...

 

I like it but I don't feel great about the alt mode presentation. The extra junk on the trailer seems out of place.

The episode "Jungle" has some of the better, more focused shots of the trailer and its functions for anyone curious.

 

Please don’t flame me but the super and alt modes could have been made cleaner and more amazing by.... excluding the base/minicon bits.... but I’m still buying him. Just stating my 2cents

 

question. how long will the pre orders stay open? is this a one and done? like after all the pre orders are confirmed and closed will be unable to get one? or will they still have some lying around at a discount? never used 3rd party before and don't know how this stuff works.

I’d like to see a special edition in PS2 colours. Muted/matte colours and blue optics would be stellar and maybe just the core robot with Sparkplug and his gun.
