No way, people have to remember they gave us glorious figures and that, sometimes, they can make mistakes. A recall is not happening, otherwise they would have decided it already I guess.

 

Yeah, 3P MP can't really afford to lose more players. I'm hoping that a solution is both forthcoming and cheap for FH.

It’s definitely the plastic I notice if your hands aren’t completely dry then there will be like pieces of plastic residue slowly chipping off the hinges.. check the edges where you push in your super mode feet aswell I notice a slight stress mark where mine is on the left side.

 

Well it’s Chinese New Years so they’re closed anyway and the figure just came out like a day before it officially started there might still be time for a recall if they get enough reports and by the looks of it I’m assuming 95% of people have some kind of issue or are close to having one and are emailing for replacement parts.

They told me this but I don't believe it. Maybe some have no issues straight out of the box. But after some use, they will all have these issues.

They won't make a recall. Imagine how much it would cost for them. I don't even think about it.

 

Anyone know what these fold out tabs are for on the back of the container? I might have used them since opening and transforming a few times but I don’t remember and the instructions don’t say anything?

You are most probably correct. Remember some of the tabs we didn't know what they were for on MB-06 until MB-11 was released

 

Yikes on those tabs for the core arms for super mode. I might have to shave those down if they seems super tight

Does anyone know if you can transform the figure with the optional super mode ear parts on? I tried but the cavity seems slightly too small for it to work

Yes you can, just make sure they’re pressed against the head as much as possible before trying to fold it away. They do take up more room than the fins do.

The swapping out was more involved than it should have been really..not looking forward to taking it apart again to change the batteries. I literally might just unscrew the head with the pipes and put it on the second batch copy rather than take it all apart again.

Sorry to see that, contact Fanshobby with an invoice and pictures of where yours cracked they’ll make a note. Hopefully they’ll post about a fix soon.

 

Depending on how much they shipped before CNY, they would probably still have to take a loss and replace any broken figure returned, and then proceed with a 2nd batch rightaway. Otherwise no one would dare pre-order Jetfire/Overload to go with this guy.

Where did you message them. I messaged them on Facebook and they got back in a couple of hours. I'm in the UK and it was late so I'm not surprised it took them a while for me

 

Already done. Super glue has been applied and he's held up very sturdily. Definitely a shame as this is my first ever FH figure.
Other than the bad plastic it definitely feels like an otherwise sturdy figure with a fun conversion and lots of play features
