Yes that’s what I think is best and have chosen, since I can technically use my other first batch copies for repairs in the meantime..really really cool of them. They were so apologetic about it too you can tell they’re disappointed about how MB-15 has turned out.

I think that they offered because mine is showing wear and tear in places that will break the figure completely in time like on the waist and chest parts.

 

Honestly now I'm kinda thinking twice about getting Overlord and Godbomber.

 

I had their Overlord for a year and a half absolutely no issues, and I’ve not heard anything bad about their Godbomber. It just seems to be an isolated issue with Naval Commander..

 

That's the thing though they're doing reissues this year.

 

Popular demand, and considering they’re putting out the accessory kit for Overlord I’m not surprised.

 

But that's the thing, what if the reissues turn out like this?

 

Then you contact them and get replacements.
They have been upfront about this issue the moment it surfced, i doubt they will do an 180 on other items.

 

Don't think twice. These are good designs, they have been tested and work great over time. MB-15 is a completely new design. Most of the issues come from this. We'll see how they cover these.

 

This is mine straight out of the box. Most pictures are from it being untransformed even once. Sent them straight to FH. I am waiting for an answer from them.
The last picture is not clear I know but that's the best I could do to show you the hairline crack at the waist... I am very disappointed and I hope FH will do what it takes to make it right.

I sure hope they do. I don't even want to touch it now. I was really looking forward to getting it but now I have been nothing but afraid of breaking it. I feel sorry...

 

I don't think they've done anything scummy I think that their plastic quality has gone downhill and I don't want to go through the potential headache of replacement parts with my definitely hamfisted and 100% likely to fail attempts to install them.

 

Athena also used bad plastics but it wasn't falling apart straight out the box so I guess they got away with it.
This one really blew up in their faces they won't be able get away with cheap materials anymore.

 

This is an absolutely fair stance to have. Most people wouldn't buy a car knowing that it has 15 recalled parts you'll need to take into the shop and have replaced the moment you purchase it.

 

To be fair I doubt there will be the same demand as for the first run. So maybe I'll wait for reviews.

 

I'm (uncharacteristically) optimistic about the second run. Maybe I just really want this to be good because third party has been so excessively predictable since the death of Neo-Classics. Some remakes of designs that I haven't had burned into my eye-sockets again and again would be so nice.
