That is very true! Especially with FH usually having many many runs of a figure down the line.

Easily expect them to do at least powerlinx and a nemesis from this mold. I’m gonna keep harping at them to release a PS2 game style core robot as an exclusive for like TFCon or something or maybe only through their own website. Maybe even a V2 with a Starsaber team of minicons and some extra paint, maybe a more metallic coat on the trailer.

I would love a Powerlinx recolour of Naval Commander, but only as the core bot for me. I wouldn't really have any interest in a combined mode for that repaint.

Well, @Chosen Prime got Naval Commander in stock. And since they also had another figure in stock I wanted and the store I preordered both at hasn't gotten them in yet I canceled my preorders and gave TCP my $330.

I would cancel my order from Showz to order from TCP, but Showz is still much cheaper for me, so guess I just have to wait.

I'm unsure what it is about this figure but after seeing the reviews and all the pictures coming it, something about it just makes me happy. While I haven't got the space nor the funds to blow right now, this is definitely going to be something I try to get later on down the road. Especially if/when they do Jetfire and Overload.

I'm also curious to see what repaints they might do. I feel like Powerlinx/Magna Convoy is inevitable. I could also see something like the Gold K-mart Deco popping up as a tfcon exclusive, or some such.

Naval Commander with his arms and legs fully extended to super mode positions.

Nemesis is a shoe-in given this was where that trend was born

What does he look like next to some bots with the legs extended?

I mean, this guy might have a different opinion on that.

True, Armada Nemesis Prime was the first use of the name "Nemesis Prime," but Scourge was the first evil Optimus clone, and Scourge was the one that set black and teal with red windows as the color palette. Also, Scourge's name in the original Japanese Car Robots was Black Convoy, which is the same name they use for almost every other Nemesis Prime... except, ironically, Armada Nemesis Convoy, who was called Scourge.

I mean TECHNICALLY the first evil, black Optimus clone was Black Lio Convoy and Scourge, while a repaint of A Prime, wasn't a Black clone of RiD Prime, he had a distinct shape compared to Fire Convoy. Plus was a whole hell of a different character. Armada Nemesis was the first Nemesis as we know him today.

By extending those legs/arms, will it make him have a 90 degree bend in super robot mode?

The leg joints/knees in the extended position ARE the super mode elbows. They get to about 80-85 degrees?

Not quite sure what it is but the extended proportions really really work for me. I know Armada Prime was always quite stubby and beefy but the design liberties Fanshobby took with their figure really makes it look great with “normal” proportions.

The eternal dilemma of "this figure is good I must have it" vs "should I wait to see if they will make repaints that I want?"

If the repaints you want are the usual suspects I’d say you’d be fine to go ahead and try and buy a copy, although wouldn’t be a bad idea to wait for them to work out the QC.

Wow. I'm surprised how much those extended legs help his proportions in my eyes.
