The million dollar question - Who that running? If that's like, a base body for a headmaster with no backpack, the poseablity is gettin me hype.

 

The Headmaster Juniors had a separate helmet, which can be seen in Athena here:

 

I knew the helmet was a separate bit, I was talking the face itself which looks absent in that other picture you posted! Could just be a lot lower profile than I'd expected.
Edit: Looking at it now, that's what it is! They really got the face small on the headmaster's back.

I think she's looking really good. The only thing I'm not quite into is the red headlights... I wish those could have been molded in clear or blue instead. But I guess it's most economical to mold all the clear bits together.

Weirdly, I'm okay with the red windshield. Even if it's not accurate to the original toy, a red windshield has a kind of G1 silliness that I can get behind.

 

The red windshield is strange, especially considering the A-pillar and lip where it meets the roof are not yet painted. And granted it's a test shot, but right now the fit with the side windows seems to need some adjusting.

 

Yeah, I'm chalking that gap up to it being a test shot, for now. Hopefully they get that fit working better for the final version.

 

I have zero attachment to this character but I'm all for a new fembot on the market. Especially a 959.

 

I seem to remember she's about 6.3''

 

I know they've stated that before, but I'm wondering if it's 6.3" to the top of her head, or to those car-part shoulders. Sold either way, but while I always assumed that was head-height, I'd love confirmation.

 

That I do not know. I guess the other thing someone could do is (and this is presuming Thunderclash and Powerbaser are the same height) estimate Minerva's size relative to Thunderclash in the pictures above.

 

I was kind-of thinking the same thing. Except I don't know how close the powerbaser design is to that one....and also, I don't own their Powermaster Prime to compare to anyway. Maybe someone who owns one can give it a look?

 

Red pieces are likely just there to show you where the transparent pieces are on the figure.

 

She's a purchase so far!
