If you're feeling the love for Marvel PMOP, you WILL be delighted with this simple little upgrade kit. FH nailed the Marvel head perfectly!

 

Really gives him unique character. Like he may be Optimus resurrected and given a fresh start, but he's not forgotten who he was and what he's seen.

Those colours really pop, but I can live without the mould in a 3rd flavour.

 

So I have been waffling on this guy for a while now and just couldn’t decide if I wanted it or not. I really have no love for Optimus or most of the main cast of characters for that matter. I have been into transformers since their beginning, comics and toys. Never really got to see the cartoon. I never had any toys of what I would consider the main characters. Mostly combiners, what I’m still really into, and side liners. I have updated version of all the ones I had growing up and am working on all the MP combiners, but wasn’t really interested in a Prime. Until I saw this one a few months back. It looks good, but the main thing I like is the combining factor. Well, I went ahead and ordered the Red and blue V2 version today from eBay, so I should have it in a couple of days. I am excited about it. Now I just can’t decide on the god bomber. I don’t really like it that well, but I kind of want it just because they go together. Anyway looking forward to getting it.

 

Was there not another thread, just for this figure or did it get merged with this one.

 

If you like combining and MP, get the god bomber, and then get Fans Hobby’s Overlord (Double Evil).

HIGHLY recommend both; the later being a combo of a jet and tank that also has a cool base mode combo (in case you’re unfamiliar with the Overlord character)!

I’ve always hated power master prime with a passion, but I LOVE my power baser. The fully combined bot is a thing of beauty that rights pretty much every design wrong about the character. And yes their Overlord is equally well done, and the perfect counterpart. Never thought I’d ever enjoy a PM Prime, so well done Fans Hobby.

I don't know what sort of production economics Fans Hobby has, but it's amazing that they can keep making so many cool variants of such a large/expensive figure. Equally impressive that I don't feel like I've seen loads of stories about the molds degrading either.

Is it an exclusive? When does it release?

 

Gotta wonder how many will be produced for this TFCon exclusive. Naturally they'll be individually laser-etched like previous exclusives. Wonder if they'll do a blue GodBomber at the next convention like they did with Purple PowerBaser.

 

The branding on it makes it look like it'll debut at TFCon Chicago in October, and then the remainder will go up on The Chosen Prime afterwards (maybe some on Fans Hobby's own site too).
