This stuff is great
I’m a little hesitant on trying that on my Power Baser without having a spare eye piece when I screw it up, but it’s perfect for the dead eyes on the MP-44 KO I have ordered from ShowZ.
Make sure to use a thin primer first, and then add a number of thin coats. if you put it on too globby, it'l look bad. Here's a tutorial on painting metallics:
I keep coming here every time this thread gets bumped hoping to see a fire guts version announced. Between this maketoys and perfect effect you'd think one of them would have done the Fire Guts colors.
How long does it need to dry between coats?
Yeah, this works for Super Ginrai mode and It was the way I'd displayed him since I first got him (and nine's a V1, so I've had him for awhile). But the reason the instructions tell you to collapse them in anyway is because God Ginrai's chest armor doesn't fit if you don't.
You mean Godbomber?
see I don’t have the god armour yet so when I get my reissue I’ll give it a try.
They're acrylic, so pretty quickly. If the coat is thin enough, under ten minutes per coat. Much faster if you have a fan nearby, or are using an airbrush.
Hello, what is a good price for PB v2 (mb06c) now? Is there a v3 coming to worth to wait for?
I painted the eyes on mine blue and never looked back. =)
There's a reissue coming up. Here's a link from @Chosen Prime - Fans Hobby MasterBuilder MB-06C POWER BASER V2
I like it, looks good.
I’m contemplating removing the extra details. Like on the shoulders, forearms, and shins. I don’t dislike them but I think I’d like it better without it.
Wow makes a huge difference!
Red eyes are comic book accurate though!
God damn it, i just bought v2 PB for 203 usd. Most expensive figure i bought. Also my collection is movie based and i have not watched the show. I need to get out of the hobby now.
But it looks so cool and imposing.
Applied some floor polish to the post of the hip flap. Still feels a bit loose, but doesn't fall out when I give him the "pick up and gently shake" test.
Yeah, the part of Godbomber that forms God Ginrai's chest won't fit over the truck cab that forms Super Ginrai's chest if the wheels are tucked in. That's why I was saying that I agree with @Matrix1981 that leaving them out looks better in Super Ginrai mode, but the instructions were probably telling us to fold them in because it's necessary for God Ginrai.
I have the v1 power baser. Other than the adjustable bumper, does it have any other changes? Also, can we buy the replacement adjustable bumper to upgrade the v1? Or do we have to buy an entire new figure for the fixes?
Also, is it just me or does anyone else think the thighs on this figure are way too short? Like an inch too short? As I cant keep thinking he is wearing thigh high boots every time I look at him. But that is supposed to be his knee.
