This is why I'm usually not an early adopter, I like to wait for the 2.0...it's burned me on a couple figures, but it mostly works for me.

 

I'm not worried, I am enthralled with Archenemy. I think it's a brilliant figure, so a re-release with leg flaps won't phase me. I like the original one so much, I'm not going to buy a second one for such a small change. The chest and shoulder remolds won't work for it, and I give flip all about the hood change.

 

I dont think the covers do a whole lot though..Even the covers themselves look like legs lol..Maybe if they made a square panel that covers the waist piece too it woukd work better?

 

I've have one of those G2 reissue Laser Primes still mint in box that's I was trying to sell off for ages. Now finally after I get this, I'll be able to do the "then" and "now" display option.
BTW, I just realized who you were talking about last time when u said "archenemy".. I didn't really know who it was then

Lol, no need, I don't own it (yet), so my opinions in this debate would be futile at best !!

 

All kidding aside, I've never been so impressed with a company's first release. I thought SparkToys War Within Prime was good and Garatron's Thunderwing was even better, but this blows them right out of the water. Ace Collectables Tumbler was still okay at best.

 

While those are cool additions, they aren't significant enough for me to replace my Arch Enemy with a new one.

 

At least there will be more differences between the two other than a G1 gun, paint apps, and an opening Matrix chamber with Matrix.

Im so looking forward to this, I have wanted a MP G2 Prime for quite some time.

 

I'm definitely looking forward to this. He'll look nice next to MP-10.

 

No need for a G2 Prime here, but if they rerelease their Scourge with the alt mode upgrades I'll hafta buy him again.
