yea, im not even considering biting on this guy till the wider release version, i think he will slot nicely with my mmc and not show accurate vehicons. I'm a bit of an oddity in that while I love the show designs, I also greatly appreciate entirely new designs for beast era characters.

Definitely, me too. I feel like "MP cartoon G1" is used a little too much today, I love variance. It helps keep things fresh. Personally I really like what MMC is doing, and in the case here, where non-beast era designs are being adopted by beast figures, and it works honestly rather well in many cases. Would definitely hope to see much more.

i absolutely love what mmc has done with the vehicons and hope they do the other 3 from the show in new designs! titanika and oberon are literally the only reason why i don't feel compelled (strongly at least haha) to get the machine wars botcon set while its 80% off 20171123_000305265_iOS.jpg

I just got my Feilong yesterday, and i can pleasantly say that fans hobbys build quality is amazing! The plastic is so thick, ratchets super tight but smooth and this guy is massive in hand. Definitely tempted to pick this guy up now haha.

Glad to hear it, literally the only reasons I’m biting on the expensive convention version from tfsource is that I have the money currently and fear that the mass release version might lack some bits like the fists or nice paint apps

Normal release TM 2 Megatron preorder up at BBTS.

Master Builder MB-03B The Red Dragon

At least I assume it's the regular release, as it's much cheaper than the exclusive was.

Yeah, it says it is "missing some pieces" but if the images are to believed, it looks to come flame effects the exclusive didn't show.

what is your shelf more geared toward? updated bw or post bw/bm? in my opinion that would be more the deciding factor. also the novelty of having a 3rd party figure that homages a botcon figure that uses an abandoned concept from the previous botcon licensee that was a remold of an official figure :p

I've started collecting MP size Megatrons, and this guy is the right size, but PE's version is the one that's accurate.

This one is just cool looking, and a similar themed Megatron, so I need to decide whether or not he's different enough to just say "screw it" and pick him up as well.

Re: novelties, there's also the novelty of an unofficial toy homaging a Botcon design that is actually CHEAPER than the Botcon toy thanks to the aftermarket.

It says includes one fistS. Plural.

This retail version is missing the extra faces and has changes to the deco.
