i think this would still be popular because its scourge and completely different to the mp10 repaint which wouldn't have had that repaint if it was not for scourge

Nah, he'd still be really popular as the character HIMSELF is popular. If anything, I'm betting a lot of folks that originally got black MP Prime intended for him to be this guy.

    I know I did. :D

Almost 1 month update on tires:

Smell is still there but not as strong. I give it another month before it's weak enough to not stink up my room

I'm dying for a pair of articulated hands for this figure, would really make him look more "premium"

A bowl of un-brewed coffee grounds in your room would probably help a lot with the smell.

Like others, I'm a bit frustrated by my inability to attach the sword to his hand. It's kind of killing the experience for me since he looks so great with it equipped. Reminds me of my frustrations with the weapon system DX-9 used for Hanzo. What good are the accessories if you can't even attach them without fear of stress or breakage?

People can't get him to hold his sword?

I actually came into this thread again to ask about that because the sword slides into the slit area of the hand and grips fine on mine

Thinking about it more, it did take me a minute to get the sword lined up right so it could slide down that slit, so maybe that's the problem?

I always wanted a Nemesis Prime and this seems like a dream come true but for those of you who have this guy let me ask:

What are the "cons" for this guy and would be worth picking up an MP collection???

Other than the smell when first opened, I have no cons for him.

I tried it on both hands. It seems there's excess plastic on either the handle or the hands themselves. I can get it part way in if I tilt the sword at an angle, but it won't really go down the track. I don't know if I have to remove excess plastic, but it feels like the hands will be stressed if I try to force it down.

Have you tried sliding the hands off the mushroom pegs at the wrist so you're not fighting the whole figure while trying to maneuver the sword into the hand?

Actually, I haven't tried that yet. I'll give it a go later. Maybe that'll solve it as I was dealing with the arm unfolding during the initial process. Thanks.

p.s. When you do insert it, is it an overly snug fit?

Yes, the sword. I totally walked into a "That's what she said!" set-up.
