Well then you must've added that pretty quickly then, because I read it less than an hour after you posted it and you had it in there. :lol

I am honestly disappointed they glued those doors shut though.

Don't add a Matrix if you don't want him having it FH, but preventing people from adding one on their own kinda sucks IMHO.:(

I kind of agree and thought the same thing, but did Scourge ever actually open his chest plate during RID? If he did, then it's strange they glued them shut. If he didn't, then I would bet they are going for cartoon accuracy with the character. Still, it would have been cool and could have come with a "dead matrix" like the Universe Nemesis Prime(Big Convoy from BW2 repaint) did.

No, he never opened his chest in the toon, but it would've been a neat little feature for him.

IMG_1728.JPG Arrived today, extremely nice figure. The left chestplate on mine wasn't glued at all, so if anyone was curious as to what the matrix housing looks like... here ya go:

There is no way this won't be widely modded so that it opens. :D

Yes I did read the note, and read/watched the reviews, but the damn thing was clearly manufactured for the purpose of being opened, as evidenced by the pinned door hinges, but was glued shut after it was assembled.

The reason I was asking was to see if anyone has successfully managed to remove the glue to get door open.

Looks like there's no tabs to hold in closed, probably why they glued it. Im guessing Laser Prime will have some sort of tabs.

You know that's a good point I didn't even think of. Since it was definitely designed with mold re-use in mind for Laser Prime... perhaps they decided to build it into the mold, but glue it because they didn't want this guy to have access to the Matrix since he isn't technically a Prime.

Plus that way there's incentive to buy Laser besides just the paint?

Why the hell did they glue the chest at all if its a built in feature to the mold. Character accurate or not if someone doesn't want to use it they can leave it shut and never touch the thing. No worries at all. Bonus cool thing for anyone who doesn't mind.

The fact they felt a need to glue it period is just the weirdest stupidest idea. haha
