Yeah I feel like they're most like going to at least make some kind of small tweak to it, considering that they've publicly done revisions on Laser Prime and Powermaster Prime already. I'm sold either way for the bot mode alone but right now he does kind of just transform into the vague suggestion of a vehicle lol

 

I really like the bot mode but there really doesn't seem like much to the alt mode. I hope they can redesign that. Use the Mugen Calibur as a base for the transformation. As is, it looks like he's just laying on his back. A bit disappointing.

 

their monstorbots dont really have much in the way of transformation either to me. They all seem pretty simple, could be wrong ive not watched videos on them so its just an observation. Its a little odd looking in vehicle mode and would look better if the hood could raise up as high as the shoulder guards that are supposed to be fenders, or vice versa but the first seems more likely than the later based off how it appears to transfrom. I know if guidi's artwork it shares a similar transformation to the original roadbuster toy, but im not sure how feasible that is and being able to keep the bulk the legs currently have. I like the robot mode a lot more than MMC's they honestly havnt done much Ive cared for since spartan/commatus. I havent even bothered to pick up more than one of the DJD figs.

 

Maybe he's wondering why someone would shoot a constructicon before throwing him out of Astrotrain.

 

On topic though, if this were masterpiece I'd pre order hands down

 

if this guy will be the same height as UT Allen, or a head shorter than MP Magnus, i'll get him as soon as he will be available in the market. if not, sorry me.  

 

On Feb. 1 I asked FH via Facebook about Roadbuster's height. They said he was a bit taller than MP-10 but that they were still fine tuning so it might change. So that gives a rough sense of what they're going for.

 

I did ask them a while back if the feet could rotate 180. They were very polite and said that they were still tinkering on him.

 

^still got a lot of tinkering to do, imo.

If this looks anything like the render in the first post then I'll keep on happily ignoring it. Especially the altmode is pretty horrid.

Hmm, yeah I was actually debating on holding off getting the mmc roadbuster to see how this one turns out but I will probably just end up ordering dicamus now..

Nope. If that's what he's going to look like then not a change in hell I'm getting it.

About the only two positives I see here is his size and that he has a shoulder cannon that is an actual cannon (and possibly transforms from similar use in the altmode).

Dislike everything else about it. Guess MMC remains the best option for me.

 

It's already better interpretation to IDW Roadbuster than MMC's one is

Sadly this guy will be too big for my display, otherwise I would just wait for him instead of MMC's.
