Oh boy. This looks nicer than MMC's version, can't wait to see more. :)

Why is he such a fatso? Is he based on the IDW or Dreamwave version? I thought that if it's part of the MB series it would be G1 accurate :inquisiti

Looks like it's influenced by this Guido Guidi sketch

If they're doing wreckers, hopefully we can get a G1 MP Whirl with ski feet in future :)

If this company has good QC to back up their designs, they might become one of my favourites too.

Yep, he definitely seems to be based off of Guidi's design, so IDW styled. I hope he's massive, he's a powerhouse in IDW. :D

If this is MB-04, I wonder what 03 could be? Maybe the third Monsterbot?

I like it keep him big. We already have plenty of normal proportions. Give me the tank bot.

Interesting that two companies have based their Roadbusters off the same Guido Guidi design, though, granted MMC's is more of a Classics take. I am a little curious why doesn't this one have treads? I think it'd make sense to differentiate it from MMC's and hit the market for people who want more faithful designs.

If they want to keep him accurate to the drawing, why does he have wheels instead of rails at the back of his leg?

Whoa, well MMC's a retool of Strika or whatever her name is. It's a stretch calling it Roadbuster, so is their Whirl. I am probably wrong it's Strombringer or something but neither looks right to me.

I just realized Fans Hobby is the company doing the Monsterbots.
    FANS HOBBY MASTER BUILDER MB-01
    Fans Hobby Master Builder MB-02
They do like the big and bulky look.

Though I'm also just realizing that the most dramatic part of that Guido Guidi panel is Roadbuster's shoulder vents scraping the ceiling. Shoulder vents that this render doesn't have.

Yeah they are a great company but those are all misses for me. The visual language of the characters you listed is just not there, at all. But then they make an Overlord that literally looks like it jumped out of my Wreckers GN to dismember me. Needless to say MMC leaves me puzzled at times.

He'll probably scale to voyagers (which is MP carbot size as well), so he'll work fine in a voyager scale/large chug collection.

I doubt he'll scale to classics size/deluxe scale though.

Wow... tempted to cancel that MMC Roadbuster now if this sizes properly.

And yeah. that MMC Whirl... close enough for me to buy, but not quite there.

I doubt it. The design isn't good enough to be one of Keith's.
