You'd think at this point people would stop complaining about Fan First Fridays showing off things that were announced that same morning.

It's a two-part process. They often have the figures in hand, go in to further discussion than just a pic, and sometimes show off more of the figure than initial pics.

It is, at best, a wash.

I forgot to mention in my above comment but I'd like to imagine the people at Hasbro have no fucking idea what these people are talking about when they demand "Studio Series Devcon" because they probably forgot that thing even existed, as the name wasn't even final, it was just a placeholder.

 

well that was underwhelming. for me at least. 20 minutes for 3 SS (including one already revealed), the video game, and the Ectotron remold. was hoping for some last minute Earthrise exclusives and/or some Selects but what can you do

 

All in all I'm content. Got some new figures to tide SS Bay fans over and we know more is coming. I think we'll see one more FFF before they start pumping the toys out rather than revealing more. We've got a LOT of preorders and exclusives and two new lines to hit shelves, we aren't in any sort of drought right now.

 

Man the FFF for Star Wars is so much more refined and easy to watch...
