WANT. Best Astrotrain ever it it comes out like the pics.

Thought I wish the back of the shuttle was more rounded and less block.

 

I used to think MP-10 scale is what TFs are tending towards but now I'm not convinced. It seems different companies will just go with their own scale.

Classics is not a scale but most of these figures will approximately fall into 2 main groups: Classics Prime and TW Orion scale.

A Voyager Astrotrain will probably fall into one of these classics scale.


Note: Yes, people can display whatever they want with whatever they (before someoen accuses me of being a nazi)

Edit: Not fussed on colour as long as I can recognise it's Astrotrain.

 

Hot Dam! Can a 3rd party make a Masterpiece size and style Astrotrain? I hate to see stuff like this and say, OH SNAP! Mp? And then its classic or voyager size. And my world comes to a end. Mp or GTFO!!!!

I really don't care for the 1800s train mode, even if it's true to the g1 figure.

 

They should include a tiny little devastator figure to put in the cargo good just for the lulz.

It's a good job classics collectors already have Astrotrain that isn't like that then!

Voyager is MP car height isn't it? Way too small for an MP shelf.

This one feels like a huge no-brainer and I'm personally shocked we are just now potentially getting one.

 

This is the best Astrotrain I have seen since G1. Want Want Want!

If the makers are reading, I hope you go with a metallic grey paint like the Justitoys WST Astrotrain. It will give your figure a premium finish and look. Hoping die cast included too but not holding my breath.

And sit back for the next 2 years while people throw in their suggestions, wonder where the figure is after 8, 10, 16 and 20 months, complain & speculate why it's always being delayed... and every single other color-by-numbers process that happens when these things are "announced".  

 

Looks pretty decent, might consider it when it's on e-stores.

 

Let's not go down that road and start the mindless witch hunt. That custom was only posted up three days ago, I very much doubt the people who designed this one have any idea it exists. Similar shoulders on two interpretations of the same character isn't exactly reason to call OMG THIEF, especially when both look to work like the original G1.

And let's not forget to mention the fact they look NOTHING ALIKE.

 

Just because they have similarities, doesn't mean that they are ripping it from that custom. For all you know this design has been in their pockets for a long time. So, please don't assume.
