    Name: FUSION
    Faction: Decepticon
    Sub-type: Triple-Changer
    Function: Demolitionist

"Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide."

    PROFILE
A one-robot wrecking ball dragooned from the fight pits of Polyhex, Fusion is a mechanoid of few words but many ambitions - chief among which is the desire to survive the war. Concealing his checkered past behind a mask of unremarkable performance, he has manouvered himself out of the battle line and into a heavy demolition team, reasoning that buildings are less likely to shoot back. Constantly plots to try and return to his moderately successful civilian grey-market business interests, but deep-seated fear of military Decepticons in general and Shockwave in particular have left him overcautious about deserting.

Fusion exhibits moderate repair skill with weaponry of many kinds, and affects a number of false personality traits, such as collecting, scavenging, and attaching all kinds of weaponry to himself, and being more effective with area-effect attacks than precision fire. His two-tone color scheme is designed to make him blend in with Cybertron's surface from above, and the night sky from below.

He rarely speaks, preferring gestures and flickers of his featureless faceplate, and lives in permanent low-grade terror that Shockwave will find out who was responsible for destroying a certain Decepticon outpost.

    ABILITIES
Festooned with weaponry of dubious origin and reliability, Fusion is a capable demolitionist and hand-to-hand fighter. Urban tank mode manouvers on low-power gravimetrics, uses dual triple-barrel plasma turrets, twin fireball projectors, demolition missiles, ramming wedge. Interceptor mode flies at Mach 0.7. As robot, wields dual plasma autopistols, which are stored in his shoulder pauldrons and can be fired from there in all modes. Demolition-charge missiles can be fired from any of the twelve ports in his main launcher, either singly or in a devastating umbrella of destruction. In tank mode, has a triple microlauncher under his front hull from his pit fighter days; usually keeps it stocked with two small smoke grenades and an energon scalpel. Most of his weapons have a 360-degree field of fire.

    WEAKNESSES
Overcautious and slow-moving. Substandard tracking circuits make him more effective against single opponents than multiple tarkets. Eschews tank mode, claiming minimal ground clearance results in damage by large potholes, but really to avoid ground assaults against Autobots. Fireball projectors are prone to napalm leaks. Weaponry is often poorly integrated - deploying one system may interfere with another's field of fire or range of movement, either partially or completely. Plasma turret actuators are vulnerable when the weapons are extended for firing. Avoids precision weaponry, even when it would be to his advantage. Missile battery has minimal elevation capacity, and the total area bombardment mode empties half his magazine with each use. Microlauncher is not available in interceptor mode and accessing its contents in robot mode requires unlocking his chestplate. Pops his fireball launchers in and out as a nervous habit, making a loud clacking noise.

This is pretty impressive! I love all of the different aspects of thoughtfulness you've placed into caring for this guy. This is another testament to how fancharacters and their artwork can demonstrate the utmost care. Great work :thumb

his head makes me think of lego men hehehe. I'm curious about what program you used, too. It looks like maybe a draft program or something.

I actually used Google Sketchup, believe it or not. It doesn't have much in the way of advanced functions, but the snap-to-extrapolated-point ability makes basic modelling very fast.

The shot up top isn't pieced together - it's a single screencap, cropped and with the background replaced.
