I remember once when I was collecting WH40k I decided to make my own Space Marines chapter. I wanted something different, the colours I chose were an orangey red and turquoise quartered.

I painted one, decided it looked piss awful and stuck it straight into the paint stripping tub.

Whoever interpreted the results of the poll into this monstrosity should have done the same.

    I love victorion/torchbearers

I am new to TFW so please don't get made at me for messing up.

Ok so let me start off by saying this, I love victorion period

When I first saw her in the USA today Comic preview, I said, " damn "
simple as that, and I felt the figure would be just like that.

It was, but not completely, I had hoped that, the comic combiner head would be on the figure as well, but it's not, I do not like the head as I do the comic, it's two completely different heads and I hope it's not on the final product.

When images at sdcc were being uploaded, I saw unfinished products, they had paint chips all over them, and paint smudge all over them as well, then when I went on a hunt to find the comic pictures shown in their video a sdcc, I discovered they aren't finished.

I looked at stormclash and skyburst and saw on the comic, their suppose to have more teal on the chest/combiner peg.

My final say on victorion is this, I want the comic head of victorion and a more finished paint job on all the figures.

Tähtimuna, Screencaps of Victorion?s SDCC video, includes...

They ARE females, but I at least want them to be finished and look at little more like the comic, because that what made me love them, the comic.

I agree. I hope they have personality, but realistically they won't.

Almost all of the Takara Combiner Wars releases have been released sometime afterwards Hasbros versions. Hasbro Devastator is starting to get released while the Takara version won't be out till December.

I'm not sure people should be waiting for a "Takara Version" of Victorion. At the SDCC panel, they were saying this design was a joint venture between Hasbro and Takara.

We already got Arcee, but Hasbro Nightbird would be nice.

While the sketches at the end are still a bit bulky (compared to their IDW art), they at least look far more effeminate than the resulting figure displayed at SDCC. The head design not being accurate to the comic is um... curious. Also, I really think the more muted red/teal combo in the comic works than the Perceptor-rific saturated versions shown... hoping they mute the colors some in later protos. (Maybe more retooling too.)

A lot of designs are jointly done. Since TT did Windblade, I think its safe to say they will be doing Victorion, and in these instances take big nods from the comic. Heck I was thrilled with their Swerve. His target master changing into MFB, Hasbro should have done that, but didn't.

So was Devastator. And look at how that turned out.

There's still a chance they could make the colors look less messy.

Only the two helicopters have been confirmed to be siblings. The others are still up in the air.

I'm not so certain about that. The thing to remember is that Devastator (and Windblade, just to get that argument out of the way) is a regular retail release that is sold in stores. Victorion is an exclusive box set that will most likely only be sold at online retailers. There is quite a bit of precedent for Takara to not release Victorion in Japan. (Though, Takara has been doing whatever the heck they like as of late so.....Who Knows?!)

Victorion wouldn't be any more "exclusive" than Slingshot and Wildrider. Its availability here doesn't have much bearing on the Japanese release.

As I said, if TT doesn't announce their version of Victorion by the time that Hasbro's becomes available to purchase, I'm more than happy to get Hasbro's.

They have at least 11 months to change her for the better.

They have almost a year to fix them.

I'd just rather they lose one helicopter for a jet. Or at least remold the second helicopter to be different from the base Alpha Bravo design.

I can not wait to own Victorion. The color combo is a bit jarring but I love that they all match. I don't like how the other combiner, except Devi, are all random colors. The new heads look great, I like that they are mix of styles, some with and some without the lips and visors.
The only one I'm not crazy about is Dust Rust, but that has more to do with that mold.

It's almost like she is suppose to tie in with the Till All Are One comic given the date of release.
