Look, I agree with your point but can we not? What does fighting get us other than a bitter, toxic look to others?

 

The more I think about it, the more I wonder if the Friday stream wasn't in response to the leaks.

They didn't show anything we had already seen (save for Sleep Mode) and it was all preorders for stuff coming this fall.

So maybe that's why it was last minute. "Oh crap look at all these leaks let's put some new stuff out there to reclaim some hype ahead of CC@H."

 

We saw Centurion days before (sans weapon pack) and RED Optimus and Megatron was shown maybe a day before. Tigertrax (because someone will get mad at that) was brand new, we knew Rotorstorm was coming, and Blaster was a public vote with public results, so it was a waiting game for him.

 

I hope there's a new head on the final figure. There's the description mentioning it and the original leaks mentioned it, too.

And as for more Euro-Wreckers . . . Ironfist from Hound? Who'd be Pyro? Or Thunderclach? (I know he wasn't a Wrecker, but he's a well overdue European G1 character)

 

Obvious answer would be Inferno for the former, and I think Thunderclash should be his own mold, with MW Prime as the Selects offering for him.

 

I have the Botcon versions of Pyro and Ironfist, but would love better representations of them.

Regarding Rotorstorm, if he doesn't get a new head, I'll headcanon it as he and Pyro traded looks  

 

I think Tigertrack was a huge missed opportunity to finally get that mold with a roof painted on. Or they could have just cast the roof in yellow plastic and painted the front windshield and side windows. It would have been nice to have gotten this mold with the intention of it looking like an earth alt mode. I'm so over the faux Cybertron modes that look just enough like earth alt mode to piss me off that they didn't just go full earth alt mode.

 

They say in the live, they want a hero and counterparts of evil....but for now, we have MORE Autobots than Decepticons, not counting we have JUST COMMANDER CLASS only Autobots...ehmmm

We hadn't seen Rotor and Tigertrack came straight outta left field

 

It feels pretty balanced imo. Decepticons have a lot of troop builders like the seekers and cameras, and Jetfire has both factions as options so you can use him as a Con Commander until more options arise

Sky-Lynx's product description mentioned a Micromaster that was cut from the final product, so I don't expect Rotorstorm to have a new head. What you see is what we're getting.

 

Idk but i actually read today on tfwiki that the original plans for combiner wars computron were to have "ironclad" included as a repaint of rook. I know it would've been weird having him on the team but i don't care it would've been awesome!

 

But that was for budget reasons, I'm sure a new head wouldn't be a budget concern like a micromaster would especially since new head repaints are done all the time.

 

Not necessarily considering a few of the selects seem to have more accessories than their mold mates. Greasepit gets 2 accessories (pumps and sign) while ironworks only got one and tigertrack gets 3 (rifle, shoulder gun and missile) while each version of his mold prior only got 2 (shoulder launcher and missile OR rifle and light bar), so the higher accessory counts on some figures may necessitate budget cuts on others (rotorstorms head for example)

Eh but we all know where Jetfire's true loyalties lie and he even turns in the netflix trailer already so i don't think he really counts, and even with troop builders the autobots still have a pretty significant lead in numbers and big guys compared to the cons. I agree we need way more decepticons in wfc since the promo material for siege referred to the autobots as outnumbered and outgunned so i hope we get a lot more cons down the road as well as a commander class Tidal Wave.

 

The numbers are actually fairly even if you count out the individual characters/names

 

I guess but usually hasbro already has alternate heads molded from the get go when making a figure so i have to think that if hasbro already had ideas of a rotorstorm when making spinister than i would assume they already went the route of planning him as the alternate head for Spinny.
