I was referring to the Armada Sideways character also. I really want a proper update of that toy, especially considering he was one of the best aspects of Armada as a whole
He was. Him and Thrust were arguably more interesting villains than Megatron, and they could both use updated toys if I'm honest. Thrust is not too bad, but Sideways is nearly a brick. I would absolutely purchase a Voyager Sideways if he was a deluxe-sized bot with the full combining headmaster minicon package. It's kind of amazing what they fit into deluxe price points back in 2003 compared to today.
I like the original Cybertron mold shattered glass starscream, and the shattered glass combiners wars mold one too. But for some reason just don't feel that use of that siege mold.
If you're being serious, you'll fit in well here. If you're shit-posting, you'll fit in well here, just with a different group of people. Either way, welcome!
and I meant these are just figures mentioned. We won’t know what all is coming till it actually happens
I am absolutely STUNNED at wreck-gar I thought for sure that bike mode was gonna be shit for how good the robot was I also noticed an indented circle on gnaw\'s eye, right on his cartoony brow. Its in the same spot an attenae would he which is what they have in The Movie so i wonder if that was planned.
I still have both toy versions of that character (well if you count the drone). It's a very awkward design, not sure how they could really do it justice in toy form.
Oh mannn that shattered glass Starscream looks amazing!! He’ll look great alongside SG Megatron and Prime. I hope they do Soundwave next!
I\'m digging all of these even SG Stascream, I don\'t have any Siege jet molds so this looks interesting to me compared to SG Megatron and the new swords looks fantastic combined with Starscream\'s fantastic articulation. Gnaw/Sharkticons are quintessential for the Quintesson collection and Wreck-Gar has his nipple nozzles that looks like you can place a blast effects on, joy.
can't help but feel like the colors on the back of the box are a little nicer for the character: EDIT: to be clear, I think the colors as-is look pretty accurate to the cartoon, this is just my personal opinion. Spoiler
Damn, the art for those Blu-Ray covers is really nice. These guys are looking pretty solid, Slag is an absolute unit (as he should be), Wreck-Gar looks excellent with a really great headsculpt and It's really nice to get a bigger Sharkitcon again, though I can imagine troop-building with this one may be a bit tricky.
Well.. I see the white Starscream to be the only one that got my interest, heck, I was going to do a similar paint custom as I wanted to have a white one, but this is great, as white paint is a pain to made hold as it's thicker than the colours. The others, just seem overly done. Weirdly I love it what the figures have lots of details, but oddly, that Sharkticon and Wreck-Gar just don't do it for me at all. If I get more, I'll go with the TR and such versions as I'm good with those ones already. My wallet is doing a happy dance, keep it going Hasbro!
